    You could say that.
Here is a link about ESA (Entertainment Software Association): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entertainment_Software_Association

Every games made by the listed gaming companies who are also members of ESA will be deleted.

no, the refunds are pro-rated, meaning you get refunded for your remaining time as premium.

I imagine we'll be leaving the game pages up so you'll still be able to view screenshots and read comments about the games.

microsoft, EA and sega NDS roms are already blocked.

Lets put this into context. The Powers that be have decided to clamp down on the Romsites (EW?) due to (I presume) Piracy, So in typical overhyped style everybody is tarred with the same brush and is branded a criminal (punishable by not being able to access the download section for NDS roms).
    1) I have 'Tried out' a good 80% (All of which I have deleted) of all released games and have purchased over 70 retail games (Most of the tried games were garbage and had I purchased them blindly I would have been gutted).
    2) There are currently 3 DS Lites and 1 DSI in our household (I have young children) and 3 ds Lites have also been damaged and replaced, my Mother-in-law also owns a Ds Lite as do My brother, Sister and Mum. (These would not have been purchased had I bought crap games) Also a Wii with 26 retail games (Not exploited) and peripherals galore.
    3) If I wanted to Pirate all the games I would simply have burned them onto disc.
    4) Affecting (In my opinion) the Best overall site will surely drive the real criminals underground (Rapidshare, Megaupload etc) and will not prevent Piracy.
    5) If some developers and programmers did'nt release such crap there would'nt be half as many roms to download.
    There I've said my piece.

    Ah... crap...

Hey, at least we still have the forum. That keeps me from being too lonely from not playing enough games =3

And it's only NDS games.... (which happens to be the problem >_>)

Instead of removing the ROMs, we could be charged a price for downloading them; that'd be more convenient since all the games we paid for would be all in one cart

    ace1o1 Well-Known Member

That's not the same as paying for the real game.

Why would romu charge when you can download the games on any other site for free.

Plus charging for illegal games is a lot more illegal then even having them

  14. Loonylion

    Loonylion Administrator Staff Member

that would get us in even more trouble...

Granted we keep the money to ourselves?

If we talked about it with the other companies...

Nah, I'm sorry, I'm thinking too much >_>
