If you walked into my house paid me money for something I made then made it available to a few million people, many of which would never even SEE IT otherwise and leave the other two BILLION people who have no idea how to get their hands on it in the dark, I wouldn't care. I'm just gonna say now that Halo ruined piracy, everyone expects to sell millions in two weeks and when they don't "oops, damn pirates must have done it!" they need to realize that most games SUCK and either, get over it, or make better games. Also, Obama is going to make it illegal to even search for free games to download. Google it, Bush gets the war on terror, Obama gets the war on piracy. I'm sick of these guys thinking that they need to go to war just to be popular.

 

So I found the website yesterday, and I downloaded a few of my faverite games for the playstation. Well after downloading this game I ran out of points. I was looking around and noticed that this was pretty much the best site to get PS games. They are all in one place, with people reviewing their quility. So I decided to go ahead and sign up for a premium membership. I figured I could go ahead and download all the great games I loved as a kid. Well, I signed on last night to put a few of them downloading and EVERY SINGLE GAME I clicked on was red. It wouldn't let me download them!

So I think to myself, well maybe they just dont support some of the more popular games due to their publishers complaining. So I clicked on one of the games I downloaded yesterday (Megaman Legends 2) I had a copy of it already but it kept freezing. So I downloaded a new one from the site and it worked great. Well I clicked on that game and even it has changed red! Prompting me to think that something has changed in the past 24 hours preventing me from downloading most of the games I signed up to download.

Heck I didn't even want that many games. I wanted Silent Hill, a few of the Final Fantasy games, and a handful of others. But none of them are availible to download. So tell me, was I just to hasty when signing up for premium on a site that doesnt even offer games anymore? Or am I missing something? Doesnt make any sense....

 

Wow, that is rediculous. Now I'm stuck with an exclusive membership to a rom site that you can't download roms from. Thats about pointless. Whats the point in ever having a website any longer? You could have at least given the members a 24 hour warning. Now I feel completely dooped.

 

Hey... You don't have to sign up for premium just for the benefits. It helps RomU pay for the website too.
And plus. The extra points each day can go to downloading many other games.

 

Try not to make a tense situation more tense. Let the admins deal with the users.

(And it's the other games that are currently being targeted which the user in question is a little miffed about currently).

 

You see I completelty understand this. But on thing you very well could do until that happens is make it so people know they are paying for a service that no longer exists. Now that you aren't really offering game downloads anymore, that should now be mentioned so otheres arent confused. Sure, I understand this issue wasn't known yesterday. But now it is and can be fixed with a little information.

As far as this other guy goes, I already own every SNES, nes, N64, and Saga game pretty much ever made. I only came to this site for playstation games. Because they are hard to find and most sites split them into 4 or 5 pieces. Honestly there was a superb collection here. Heres to hoping they will come back later on when the heat dies down.
