    Well....
Seeing how the nds roms were what kept a good handful of people here, one can't guarantee that.

I'm assuming it means they will or wont get a full refund depending on their situation

    I don't think it's really that bad.
I mean come on, we're more or less stealing games to those guys, are we not ?
Now, they want us to stop. And act. Yeah, well, we won't be able to steal them anymore. Where's the problem ?
If you feel like a H4XX0R you can still go google for the game, search on FTP mirrors stuff, get it from somebody else, etc. Or you can just buy it, obviously.

I personally like Romulation, and probably won't go off looking on another website for NDS game (or maybe unless it's one and a particular game i guess :°) <EDIT NOTE: Now i think about it, this might just be because i test games to a certain degree and delete them from my flashcart...>
... I got to say though, that what made me come on romulation at first was its cool GUI, whereas most other sites seems kindda, strange, suspicious, etc.

Moreover, that ESA stuff being so important, we can assume that all the games that will still be on romulation will be fair game to download. Since i believe rom downloading is "somewhat" illegal, just asking directly should be enough to force anyone to stop distributing the games. So if they don't even do that effort to ask, i don't quite see a reason to stop downloading them.

Now, i guess all we can do is wait, and hope they won't have removed too many games...

I think all these big company's STINK, you have all seen how small these files are and they expect children to pay £40 a game only to find out after about two levels that the game is rubbish, and then the you can't get your money back because you have opened the game. These big company's know this, and they dont care!

RomUlation you have been one of the best places on the net for many people and I congratulate you all at the way you have made so many children happy. Times are hard at the moment and many parents are out of work, there are many poor people out there that cant afford games, I just wish these company's could understand that.
I for one have over 550 NDS Rom's some good and some bad, and I will make sure they all will get on the net somewhere FREE to test out!

    RomUlation FOR EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I were a big company and I saw my sales go down the shitter due to piracy, I'd take action as well...but I'm not a big company, so I can't speak for them. :p

I completely agree with you, to be honest I felt kinda wrong downloading the games that I didn't actually own even though it was just to try them out. At the sametime, Romulation helped some companies make money (off me at least) since alot of the games I liked I've been slowly buying. Really the main reason I've enjoyed using roms is just to be able to have all my games stored on one disc. It's been really nice carrying my whole huge collection of games already on the DS instead of carrying around a large carrying case.

Sales are not exactly going down, though.

That said, it is obviously in their right to demand that games be removed, we aren't forced to remove then, we could challenge it in a court of law if we wanted but that would be silly and lead no where. As the message says we've always complied with take-down requests and we intend to keep doing this, if a company does not want their content on here then we won't host it, it's that simple.

And this is one important reason why we run this site. NDS games are a huge inconvenience to carry around so flash carts provide a much better user service.

I know. It's economics as well as other factors.

That was the first thing that came to mind though.

They're removing esa games. I was hoping they'd compile a list of them so that people who have them can share with others
