That is horribly flawed and rarely pays off.

Point is, it's harder to make money if you're poor. This is why we have pirating, taking shit without paying, it's not right, but there you go.

even though they are not pirated?!WOW i figured the non-pirated stuff would be allowed....think about the site were on....ROMS = ILLEGAL serials that are paid for = LEGAL.....

No clue, it may be legal, probably best to ask a mod or admin first.

well i figure there is one watching this because of the risk of people wanting to post other sites...so i guess we wait untill they see my posts. 0_o

well roms have to be dumped by someone who bought the game. posting something like that would also be illegal i guess.... you did buy it after all

yea but the difference is, they have a limit to the uses, after 5 uses each, they don't work, and so that means that the difference is ROMS will work unlimitedly.....

Ever since the introduction of personal computers into the mainstream, i.e. the TRS-80, Apple II, C64 there has been piracy, but back then you had to download at 2400 or 9600 Baud from a BBS, preferably a site with pirate group connections. There has never been a protection scheme to prevent piracy, in fact I believe the industry learned decades ago that it is impossible - so the emphasis is to make it enough of a deterrent for the average person who does not know how to access pirated warez or to break protection themselves. It is fairly easy to get any type of media one wants if you are serious enough to learn how to go about it. In fact, an age old practice is for a site that has become a target of scrutiny to only allow "trusted" members to access their warez, then the trick is to not be fooled into giving "trusted" access to a spy.

Can someone explain this to me, why is everyone wetting themselves over this? As I've seen on the front page, there are other sites with roms. And it's not like Romulation only has DS games. Why don't you guys just open up that PSX emulator and play some Tomba?

I've just been using other sources to get the few NDS games worth playing that I haven't played yet. I find the NDS selection over the past (seriously) 2000 titles to be kind of disappointing. I've been considering getting an N64 emulator to put some of my points to use.

Get some PS1 roms, they play really well on most PC's with ePSXe and who can deny the greatness of the PS1 game library? :)

The PS1 library is only rivaled by the incredible PS2 library really.

Pretty much, but you can't overlook the old-school either.
Hard to beat a great NES/SNES game every now and then. My fav game ever still is Final Fantasy 3 (6) on my SNES.
