'Tis nice to see a community response to this.

Those that are posting links to your collections of .nds titles are of no help to RomU, like looters after a natural disaster. Shame on you. By other means all you pretend to offer is available. Shame on you.

Still, it is fantastic to see real support for the RomU boys, and not the RomU .nds files. Romulation was built with community in mind, a community of gamers and game players. Game on.

I think its a big help, people will stay instead of moving on, they might even buy some points and get some psx iso's

i know, if it wasn't for actually trying to help the romU community, i wouldn't be uploading anything! it's just that some of the god people in our community are probably ones that will leave when they find out there is noone that cares. so i'm attempting to do my part.

I like all the people posting wares links in this thread and on these forums. If the ESA was watching romulation, they were probably also watching and currently still watch the forums.

That said, I'm glad they gave the admins a CaD instead of straight out-right sued. IIRC, they would be responsible for $10,000 worth of damages PER download.

Do you really care if people stay? I could give a single cloud link to every .nds ever made and I doubt I am special. I have little care for people if they do or do not stay, my care(given the circumstance) is that RomU does not drown in a sea of litigation. Romu is people like you and chat like this. You really are not helping, by posting links. Take care.

There are allot of dear and sweet people who want to help RomU, but IT DOES NOT NEED ANY HELP!. Stop your uploads or this will become a WAreZ site.

    You are doing nothing

Doesn't romU allow people to upload their NDS games?

No, RomU have never allowed uploading of any Rom to their servers. RomU forums have allowed limited exchange of links to other providers, such as Rapidshare or Hotfile, ect.

We are all chatting and thinking, and trying to help. Is that not enough to convince that there is little need to worry about RomU? Look at my past posts and I have been very critical of RomU and its service.

It does not take a fanboi to appreciate this site. Game on.

I hope RomU does survive. It's filled with good people, helpful people. And it was always a great place to test a game before buying it for the kids. Really don't trust most games, they're either terrible or full of foul language. They never age rate things properly anymore, so I was always glad to be able to see what I would be buying them before actually doing it.
And even knowing the downloads are gone, the people and reviews still remain.
That in my books is a bonus compared to the mass sea of the internets garbage.

when I looked up ESA, I was unaware that they were also in charge of distribution and sales for other companies, I only knew about the games they worked on, you know, such classics like "Hotel Dogs." So when I heard ESA was responcible for the DS games being taken down, I was ready to make a humerous rant video. Now that I know about ESA's primary purpose, I'm more understanding of the situation.
