People don't go complaining about ROMS
there are several ROM sites that have Roms.

I'm not allowed to post a link so if you want a Rom site
please PM me and I'll give the needed info

I support RomU's decision. We had been downloading roms at our leisure and had been taking it for granted when most of us should have seen this coming. We all knew eventually, it would happen, just wasn't expecting it. As for ESA, they aren't being rude or anything, they could have drug this out to court, but didn't, all they did was ask to take the NDS roms down and RomU complied. I'll be sticking around, I didn't come here for the roms, I came here cause I'm a nerd lol

Well, I don't think I can say much besides thank you Romulation staff for having provided us with ROMs for basically every (known) system so far. I'm hoping for some miracle to happen, because I really like... everything about this site - from the naming system, to how things are laid out, even to the point system which I didn't agree with at first, but eventually got used to. I know there are a lot of game for other platforms out there (and that I can still get them from here), but the fact that I JUST got my first DS after years of wanting one makes me want to play it more than anything else. Oh well.

The fact that my favorite sites are always the ones that are hit is annoying, but what can I do... argh. I have no regrets. This is the only path.
Live long, Romulation. I know you're going to stay alive and please everyone for a long, long time.

er could u fix the nds downloads so that the ones that arnt available for download show up without u having to click them? like show an X beside them or something on the search page otherwise its slightly anoying to have to search through them for one that might be available

None are available right now, so that'd be redundant.

I really do appreciate this site, but it was inevitable that something like this was bound to happen sooner or later.

I can understand that Nintendo is trying to fight piracy etc, but I would be 100% on their side if they would look at the prices of the games. Yes, I know there are budget games out there, but most of the games that the young ones want these days are the Mario ones etc and they are around the £30 mark which is quite expensive. Not to mention their god awful policies on the Wii/DSi shop games, IE:- you can only play them on the console you download them to. Even if you delete it from your original console, you still can't play it on another one, so if your console breaks then you're stuffed.

They make their money by making you pay for the game again, if you still want it.

So until changes are made regarding those 2 points, then I'm sitting on the fence at the moment.

Yeah, I gotta say. Games are pricey.

I think it was around the atari-coleco-intellyvision time? games were selling for like 3-5 bucks new , or less. Granted, not all were good, but the ones that were were just as cheap. If nintendo can find a cheaper manufacturing method, I wouldn't doubt that they are drastically lower their prices, but they do still have to make some profit.

Dsi/wii is bull too. I think that's a BIG factor in why people that soft/hard mod do so...plus they like it all freeeeeee :D

i believe romU has, and always will be, THE best site for ROMS. they may now noi longer have most of the best NDS games, but their are still many other to choose from! even some that will run on the DS using an emulator! well, even though the NDS section is down, for example, i just purchased premium just for the NGC downloads! 0_o

if that was the case, they'd lower prices.

    as for the ESA: &(*!(@#&$!)#*(&$!#)(

as for romU: It's sad to see the NDS roms down, although the rest is still fine. glad retro stuff is fine. In a year or so, the 3ds will launch, and nintendo will forget their ds battle, and we'll be free to download again ^_^

    Basking in disappointment...
Though I've never dipped my feet into other rom sites I know I can say I'll never enjoy them as much as I do with this one. I felt like a little girl in a candy store... filled with games for the taking. It's a shame, but it was expected, so I'm not too surprised. It was nice having all my games I bought and downloaded on one card.
When I first bought my cards I was warned by a family member this would happen and it happened too soon for my liking. Only managed to fill 1.8 GB out of 16.
Thank you, though, RomUlation for all your efforts and success up until now. For spending your free time uploading, providing entertainment in the forums, and all the hard work it takes to run such a website. I, as well as many others will still poke their head in here for chatting and updates. I'm glad I found this website.
To those whining about leaving : good riddance to those individuals. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Simple. RomUlation can no longer provide the games which I tend to play. Meaning it no longer serves it's purpose. The only thing going for it now, is the forum. Which to be honest, I rarely, if ever used up until this point.
