Nice colours , Nice sound , But SLOWwww

But i don't have a duo core PC

    Just a pentium 4 , 2.4 gz and 2gb of ram

But the slow-ness might be down to a one core PC

well, i love it so far. and the sound is nice. to get rid of the static i just had to increase the buffer size to about 7k and well so far i'm loving it.

but i am also running on dual core 2.0 GHz 4 gigs of ram, 64bit version of desmume also, and 1.7GB gpu

well the buffer settings needs a bit more tweaking on my end to get things worked out. they need a noise suppression setting. but then again so far i've only tried it with the professor layton game lol damn i get addicted to those games

try turning off frame limit and trying it, it seems to run better when it's off but still some slow down. trying to find a fix for it while tweaking with the settings. because other than that. everything else runs and looks better

and apparently 0.9.4 runs a little smoother on not so powerful machines

lol yea, well it's weird desmume uses almost nothing from your video card but it uses an insane amount of the cpu... it's ridiculous

Most emus and Pc games will use most of your CPU,ram, est

So you are best of to shut down any programs that you don't need to use, or hardware like usb printers if you graphics card is a PCI type

yea, i just think it would make sense wouldn't it make more sense to try to find a way if possible to make the emulator also use more from the gpu so it is less intense on the cpu. but then again i don't know i'm not very well versed in programming. at all.

it just perplexes me that i can play all of the high end games rather well but a ds emulator doesn't run that well. but then again i don't know how they really work to be honest
