no downloads from microsoft

    try http://www.autopatcher.com/ to get your system back upto date it may fix your problem
    personally i never use microsoft to update my systems ive used autopatcher.com for years

    I have installed the vidalia bundle, but always have to manualy enable it and click the tor-button in firefox. Its a software package for anonymous surfing which connects you over many proxys. But if i start the software and surf with the IE it doesnt link me over proxys -> Isnt the problem.
    Other Proxy-software isnt installed (as long as I know, nothing like that displayed in Systemcontrol/software), i have direct connection to the internet over a speedport w 501V.

    Autopatcher doesnt work, it want to download the patches from www.download.microsoft.com and so ive got a error message.

    By the way, which part of it tells you somethink about used proxy-software?

    Isnt a SuS-client a lan update server? And if yes how can i disable it? I deleated the entry but after a reboot all is created again the same way!
