NEVER update your DSi or DSi XL until there is a fix for it.

so if cannot update.. can i browse a website via the wifi on the ndsi xl ?

 

It comes with the Internet Browser already installed along with 3 other DSi Ware games that are from your country/region.

what i mean was..will it auto update if i connected to internet .?

like xbox 360 ,if u play xbox live/connect to internet.u can get banned .

 

No it only updates when you want it to.
Bad thing: Without updating you cannot access the DSi Shop

Nope. At leat in DSi, it only updates when you do so. If it didn't came with the browser, you'll need to acess the DSi shop for download that, and to acess it, you need to update for 1.4x

And what I mean by pre 1.4x is a DSi with the older firmware. Assuming pre= before

 

ok so how should i know the ndsi xl was pre 1.4x before i buy ?

NO!, nintendo is crapping us full with nds stuff, i recommend a dsi. The new dses (?) will probally have bigger screens. The dsi already kinda got the pixelated feel, and i saw some gameplay from the dsi XL (dont!) So please be smart and dont buy a dsi XL

 

there are new nds called 3nds(not official yet).it plays 3d game without using glasses

In one of my Canadian flyers, it says that it's "Compatible with Game Boy Advance games". That's not true, right?
