It's only the NDS mode. So this proves you can already play NDS games on your 3DS. Now let's see how long it'll take for 3DS games...
Can someone explain the video, I'm on my phone. Is it just that the backwards compatible NDS flashcart still work ?
It's an R4. =/ I probably won't be buying a new cart just for NDS games. Seems like a waste to me if I just play NDS.
Until Nintendo keeps blocking the updates. I will want mine up-to-date so that I can get Cave Story for the 3DS. It's a 3D remake with new graphics and everything!

That's a rather irrelevant question, there's too many variables involved for it to give any indications relating to the 3ds.

This is the only cart *supposedly* updated to work with the 3DS. There is no proof yet that it is truly legitimate or if it's just a shady sales tactic. For a note to all: None of your other carts will work until an appropriate update is made.
wow! cyclops team just confirmed the cyclods ievolution works on 3ds in ds mode without any update to the card. they said it doesnt run on dsi mode because they need the bootstrap for the 3ds
