NEW POKEMON CRYSTAL REMAKE???!!!

Mystic Mark predicts that they will have a legendary Ghost/Dragon type and spawn lots of racist jokes. I can't believe i hadn't seen this yet, thanks for the info.

 

FFS, I already replied to one of these...

They only remake the main series, cyrstal was an add-on for gold and silver in the day.


They didn't remake the horrid yellow version, and besides...it's gonna be bloody stupid if they did.

What do you think HG/SS did, then?

 

If there was a remake it would be called Mind Crystal bearing in mind HeartGold and SoulSilver.

There will be no remake. The GS Ball and Teru-Sama items are not included, but the Suicune event matches Crystal and the ExtremeSpeed Dratini event matches Crystal's.

They also didn't remake Blue and Yellow. Yellow was awesome, Blue was meh, the same.

Generations:
1st Gen - Colors (Red, Yellow, Blue, Green/LeafGreen, FireRed)
2nd Gen - Metals/Gems (Gold, Silver, Crystal/HeartGold, SoulSilver)
3rd Gen - Gems/Minerals (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald)
4th Gen - Minerals/Gems/Metals (Pearl, Diamond, Platinum)
5th Gen - Back to Colors! (Black, White)
Remakes only include two games, and have only been done for the first two generations.

 

I thought Leaf Green was the remake of Pokemon Blue
Since in Japan it was Red and Green instead of Red and Blue

If it was true indeed there pokemon's are getting lamer,IMO starting from the platinum,diamond and pearl.

Classics like blue,red,green should have a pretty good remake for DS.

They only remake the first 2 of a set, not the expansion (or thrid game) because it's features would have been added to the remakes anyway, meaning it's redundant.


Example.

Red and blue-Fire red and leaf green

Gold and silver-Heart gold and Soul silver.


They haven't done yellow nor will they bother with crystal, besides those new black and white games are drawing near...so why bother remaking a redundant game?

With the announcement of the 5th generation of Pokemon, I don' think they'll be releasing a third. There's also how FireRed and LeafGreen never got a third also. If there WAS Crystal remake, what would it's name be? Pokemon MindCrystal Version?

hYpNoS, I meant most of what I said, SPECIFICALLY the bit from Yellow; why else do we have the pokemon following behind us?

Scent, my guess is that they originally planned HG/SS for GBA, but decided to hold it back(that wireless adapter for GBA was a joke, no way they'd make that mistake twice in a row >_>)

I think these pokemon are nice.
If they're the real thing (which I doubt. really doubt), Nintendo made the right choice (but it's more likely to be a fake). I only know there'll be two new pokemon and a new region.

And, I think ClearCristal would be a nice name for a remake. (I also doubt there'll be one...)

 

They have the starters now... a snake, a pig, and an otter...

 

There will be no Crystal remake.

There will be a branch off of Black and White though, like every new series.

Blue and Red = Yellow
Gold and Silver = Crystal
Ruby and Sapphire = Emerald
Diamond and Pearl = Platinum
Black and White = ?

Fire Red and Leaf Green = None
Heart Gold and Soul Silver = None

End of story.

If anything, in a year or two, they'll remake Ruby and Sapphire.

 

They need to make a Hard core version

Starts in kanto and finishes at whatever the 5th generation continent is.
And add every content of every game on it.

And done,
we have a 100 gameplay-hours pokemon game.
