the 3ds is not an April fools gbatemp just made an April fools of an April fools and this game is not gonna have all 4 gens in it. However some people may have misinterpreted "By "main entry," we mean a game in the line of titles that includes Red & Green, Gold & Silver, Ruby & Saphire, and Diamond & Pearl" just means its gonna be a main game not a spin off or remake

ok from what I've read so far here's what most people want to see in the next pokemon game (including me):

1.no more turn-based battles.Some real-time battles would be rly nice and if the battle would start right where you are challenged,without any alternate battle screen
2.improved graphics.The biggest improvement to the game since ruby/sapphire/emerald was 3D overworld,we know Nintendo can do much more but they're too lazy to do it.
3.more move slots.only 4 moves per pokemon for the entire game (which is between 40 and 150 hours) is just sadistic.Having more than 4 moves usable at a time could open a whole new world of possible combos and strategies.Right now the best strategy for single play is to pound your enemies with their type weakness and completely ignore any moves that don't have at least 50 attack power.

 

1. No, real time would suck.
2. It's a simple game, having too advanced graphics would ruin it.
3. Yes, the very same reason why you use Firaga instead of Fire later on in FF. The battle system works, why risk creating a huge mess.

I can't read it... I gave up learning Japanese when I saw what the alphabet looked like... and the youtube vid said "Sorry an error has occurred please try again later"
