but its a darkness pokemon..... i dont think they are going to let a darkness pokemon to be a starter, that would break the Fire, Blue and Grass tradition.... but i can see it to be part of my team XD
bah, who cares about tradition, not when they send you to a rock gym first And besides, what if they do that bit where you start from any region? Going to need something capable, imo
Free roaming pokemon sounds good. I mean, all the trainers and gym leaders should start at a base level, and depending how long it took you to get to their town or city or route, that's how strong they'll be when you meet them. Real time pokemon. Mmmm.
searched rare pokemon and went to the first gym...the first trainer has lv100 pidgey... the trainers should level by the story. like more you go on with the story harder the trainers get
This sounds quite fake, and anyway, why don't they make a COMPLETELY new game rather than re-release the same games over and over again? I mean Platinum was a stretch and now HeartGold SoulSliver? Yahtzee is right about Nintendo re-releasing everything that made their company good.
5th gen confirmed long time ago, if that's what you're implying. http://serebii.net/index2.shtml and scroll
This sounds like a better idea. Free Roaming, but still story driven. Fine. And and and, Legendary's only come out when triggered by certain story events.
Well yeah, but I meant that in the context that we were talkin about what could happen for the next gen. Here's what that whole thing meant. The next pokemon will be free-roaming, you can go to any city/town/route/landmark you want to go to at your own will, but the story and plot are still there. The trainers you meet and fight level by how far in the story you've gone, and of course the story will have to be made along the way depending on what paths you've taken, and THE LEGENDARIES WILL ONLY APPEAR WHEN STORY EVENTS ARE TRIGGERED, to prevent having them early on in the game.
Speaking of the tradition of Fire Water Grass starters... Another idea of starter pokémon types are Fighting Rock Flying.
How would the Rock-paper-scissors mechanic against your rival go for that? What would he pick when you pick what?
If you pick Fighting, the rival would pick Flying. If you pick Flying, the rival would pick Rock. If you pick Rock, the rival would pick Fighting. Are you sure you've played Pokémon before?
