It seems that the name Lameboy doesn't exist anymore for the GBA player.

 

You have to put them in the "cheats" folder inside the "_rpg" folder. So it should be like this:

_rpg/cheats/X

X = Where the cheat files go(CHEAT.DAT)

Then just turn on your DS, go to the game you want cheats for, press y, then x, and that's it.

 

No need to use a savefiles converter, just go to a command prompt, Start>Run>Cmd, then type:

x: (where X is the location of the SD card)
ren *.sav *.nds.sav

Done. Or paste:

ren *.sav *.nds.sav

Into a document and save it with the extension .cmd, run that from the directory of your save files. Done.

 

Second way is not very good...

It will rename ALL files found to *.nds.sav, even the files you do not want it to (like PC game saves).

Quick explain:
Run > CMD.exe
Type:
cd X:\ (X=your drive)
ren *.sav *.nds.sav

That should do the trick.

 

That's not correct, if you run it from the directory of the save files it won't rename all and sundry That is unless Windows has suddenly changed

Ok... is my 2GB SD card going to hell, or does this firmware have a way slower reading rate than the original R4/Ysmenu? I notice a small (to most people, probably unnoticable) slowdown in EVERY SINGLE GAME. Loads are longer, games feel slower, audio feels off-synced... it's like I'm playing in 50Hz. I've browsed almost all games in my card and they all feel somehow "off".

I find it easier to notice though the audio (sound effects feel "heavier" because of that, and even my brother who was at the PC noticed the music was kinda laggy). The most notible is WarioWare D.I.Y., when loading custom minigames.

 

I think it might be the mSD, as the one that's in my old r4 is 128mb, but that loads games fine

Does NOT make sense, what OS are you on, kid?
Anything past Win95 has [Right Click>Rename], and more have the changing of the file extension from that option as well.

 

Loading games is fine, faster than the old firmwares even. It's the IN GAME LOADING that's killing it for me.

 

then it's card read/write issue, when's the last time you formatted your mSD?

LOL I'm happy with my R4 for now. Got Wood R4 on it and it works like a breeze, nice and fast! No problems with HG and it's very pretty. <3

 

I don't have the r4 handy, as I lent it out with Wood on it, so someone test out WW: DIY ans see if it actually creates and KEEPS the save XD
