The internal SPU plugin has been updated to the 1.7.0 version. The iso support code has been rewritten. The MDEC decoder has been rewritten. A new version of the Pete's Software Plugin is included. I dowloaded this new version and work better with the games , and have more compatibility , for instance in vampire hunter appear the menu ;D nice update ;D ;D

That doesn't matter though, the important thing is its back under active development, so bugs will get fixed.
I don't think that Dragon Warrior 2 ever came out on PSX, but then again the only game that I can think of is Dynasty Warriors 2 which was PS2.
DW2 is Digimon World 2 By the way, with this new version will I have to download additional plug-ins for it & does it still need the PSX's BIOS File?
Yes, you will still need the bios file as it's illegal to have the bios file with the emulator, the plugins that come with ePSXe are shit, so yes, you should download the better plugins. Pete's plugins etc. have been updated for v1.7, so they should be better.
Got a Problem when installing the new 1.7 version! > This application failed to start because zlib1.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. happens when i try and open the app. If anyone know s the fault can you please let me know.
google search "zlib1.dll" & download it, after downloading, place it on the folder where your epsxe emulator is located
