Inferior components is right. My 64 MB card won't save games anymore, making it basically a piece of junk. I've already broken the case apart, but I was wondering if it was possible to solder the pins of the memory card to the pins of a SD card converter and have it read off of that. Even a 1 GB miniSD would be able to save all of my games, probably all of the games possible on a 1 GB miniSD...
I meant a microSD card converter. The ones that I seem to have 12 of... I've heard of people doing the same thing for Gamecube memory cards, but none for PS2... Kind of like this, but with a PS2 memory card, not a GC one. http://forums.modretro.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=7994 And because my 64 MB card is now officially busted, I've lost all of my saves...
ZOE, ZOE the second runner, Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3, Radiata Stories, Star Ocean 3, Xenosaga 1, 2, and 3.
Recommendations from me that are not on the list of games you already have: Highly Recommend: - Shadow of the Colossus - Ico - Devil May Cry (If you like it, try the other 2 sequels when you beat it) - Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (if you like it, try the sequel as well when you beat it) - Burnout 3: Takedown (if you like racing games, go with Burnout) - Burnout Revenge Other Recommendations: - Kingdom Hearts RE: Chain of Memories (fills in the gap between Kingdom Hearts I and II. A good game if you're a fan) - Killzone (An alright shooter. Though IMO the PS2 Call of Duty's are better) - Hitman: Blood Money (A really fun and challenging game. You're an assassin and must kill without getting caught. You do not have to play the other Hitman games in order to play this one) - Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (I'm not interested in the anime, but I have this game and it's a nice, fast paced 3D fighter. They're nothing like the regular Budokai series though which is a 2D fighter. IMO, I think Tenkaichi 3 is better)
Suprised it isnt on here. .hack// Series I think theres 3 sagas or so, battle system is very good though, I'm suprised there aren't alot of games that use that kind of system.
I prefer the second saga in the series, I have disc one but I haven't played it in a while so I forgot what its called -_-
Wow, quite a few responses since I checked last. I have Disgaea Afternoon of Darkness, which is the same as Hour of Darkness, with a special Etna Mode. I have Kingdom Hearts RE: Chain of Memories on my list already. I like that it is completely remade from the GBA version, but I still dislike the card-based combat... I have DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on the Wii. Not sure if the content is the same, but it should be. The one on the Wii is a must have. The Burnout series doesn't have customization like all of the other racing games I like. And really, that's the only reason I don't play Burnout games. From the description on Wikipedia, FFXII uses a system similar to it, but you're right, not a lot of games use that battle format.
Ahh. Must have missed that sorry. Also if you're looking for an adrenaline rush, Burnout is still the way to go. But you're right, Need For Speed and several others are definitely better in the area of customization. As for .hack...Meh, it's an alright game. I didn't like it too much. I mean, I've only played Infection, but that was enough for me.
If you're into shoot-em-ups and/or the Syphon Filter games: Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain is not only good, but there's an online server back up for it. During setup of the connection, change the Primary DNS: Primary DNS for Bobz entertainment server: 74.65.195.94 Who knew it was THAT SIMPLE!?
