Need help with GameCube emulator

    Softmodding means, that you dont have to open up you wii and change something at the hardware. Thats the different to a modchip.

    I suggest you help him fix his's soft mod or whatever.

    He can't open the homebrew channel on his SD card for some odd reason...and make it easy for him to understand-he's 10 :)

    He already told me his age, and that his father will do it for him. I think his problem was that he has FW4.2.

    Yeah I heard about that dodgy one...

    Apparently it can brick systems that aren't moded...

    And how he got the homebrew channel working is a mystery...his console should be effectly dead...

    Fw 4.2 isnt that hard. Its only more complicated than it was before, because of blocked ios249 and some more changes from nintendo. He already did the hardest part: updating the console.

    Is it so easy? Updating a Wii is simple, unless it bricks your Wii.. I heard rumors that 4.2 CAN brick your Wii, even when it has no mod-chip... Hehehe...
