Color issues are usually caused by the PAL and NTSC differences. PAL and NTSC are two different television standards. NTSC is pretty much just North America (and Japan uses a slightly modified NTSC, close enough to work). PAL is Europe, and a bunch of other places. (There is also SECAM, but no one really cares about that) The main difference between the two systems is how the color information is coded. So NTSC games on a PAL system will experience color issues, and vice versa. So what game/region are you playing, and what region PSX do you have.
you just burned an NTSC game XD ...Switch your tv to PAL ...um...press the AV button of your tv remote until you see colors
what do u mean "keep pressing av button till u see colors" i tried that didn't work BTW i have an Australian TV
isnt it already ntsc i downloaded it from this site Post Merge: [time]1270454408[/time] oh checked my tv its a pal tv
Wait! I have a PAL tv assortment (I a in Australia XD), my ps2 runs PAL/nstc/nstc-J games fine. Even the ps1 games from here, I got no idea why it's not working on your ps1 unless the tv is VERY old.
You must have a regioned mod chip...I got an all region chip on my ps2 : Do you have any idea if your tv supports 60hrz-my first gaming tv didn't have that and played games in black and white.
