Actually my R4 already had the piracy bypass code, and I had been using it, but didn't know that you needed to interact with a giant crystal to save the game :p
They should really tell you that, it's kind of important!!!

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicals Echoes of Time is the best DS RPG out there! Seriously, look up a gameplay vid!

Well, if you like, you may want to take a look at my compiled list of recommended RPGs... :D

I haven't played FFCC EoT, do you need to play RoF to understand the storyline?

I'm with kamu: I've been playing through RoF for the sole reason that I want to be able to understand EoT.

I wouldnt do that if I were you. there is nearly no connection between the two games.

you don't have to play RoF to understand echoes of time

In the beginning of both games you will teach everything
and the controls are diffrent too in Rof you pickup things with A
in echoes of time with Y and in echoes of time you can dive in water
    and in RoF not.

So if you don't haven't played Rof and you want to start with EoT start with EoT
they are great games that can entertain you for a time.

I didn't even know RoF existed!
Somewhere further up in this topic someone told me about EoT, so I tried it. It ROOCKS!

Plus it's like the only game that can do Co-Op with the Wii version over wifi. Pretty cool!
BUT, the wii game has the same graphics as the ds one. Bummer.

By the way, how do I do the WiFi? I cant find how....

Besides in Echoes of Time, you have Mp not balls of Magicite... Thankfully.. This brings my yuke to his most powerful... And not forgetting the fact that you can get those little elemental orbs to boost your profiencies and defences against the relevant spell/status effect.

Ragnarok online DS is an awesome game if you havent played it yet. Theres a bunch of different classes, it dosent lag at all for me even when i play it on an emulator on my ancient desktop, and there are tons of different weapons and armors not to mention the card system which lets you add really nice bonuses to your gear. You can play it with the english patch until they release the fully translated US version. Patch --> http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=127993
