I don't know why, but I hate the Crystal generation. The generation I liked the most was the first one, Crystal was way much more boring.

Speaking of which, Diamond/Pearl is also very boring. Lucky me, I had no$gba and I could speed it up. ;D

D/P have a little bit of a boring spot, where you are stuck with 2 badges for a long time.

My favorite version was the Crystal because you can capture Lugia and Ho-oh..
But Diamond/Pearl are very good for me

i like emerald better than diamond/pearl..

i play it for 354 hour and 43 minute...

while i play diamond just for 47 hour and got bored

this game is really disappointing
its just like another emerald version with a couple of improvements
yeah theres the wifi and the poketch and the battles are just like the old pokemon color versions only the pokemons arent blurred and are drawn more finely
still the old 4 moves only
id really like a kind of ffta2 style of play for pokemon
multiple pokemons in battle(ash used 4 or 5 of his pokemons for battle one why cant we in the pokemon games?)
and a maximum of 8 moves would be cool and it would be more awesome if youre going to replace a move it wont be deleted itll only be stored in a kind of brain bank so you can switch moves anytime

Changing ANY battle aspect would change the entire strategy. Even adding in two pokes at once changed the strategy enough. Pokemon is successful because it hasn't really deviated from the original formula.

It'll make a better game for you, many people (including me) love it as is, because they loved the first game. Having many moves makes the game much easier, and veterans like a good challenge. Having 4 or 5 pokemons would be enormously boring, because you would spend a lot more time deciding what to use. I think (as well as most veterans) that Pokemon is great as is.

Gameplay shouldn't change too much. It took me a while to get around the double battles in Ruby.

all im asking is an improvement not much has really changed for the gameplay of the pokemon series
theres already 4 generations of pokemon games and still the old 4 move max
and commanding 4-5 pokemons wont be boring not if controlled ffta style
and who doesnt like a challenge? im saying this because i have never really encountered any difficulty throughout the pokemon series except on mazes(in a gym or in caves)

Pokemon is a classic!
Diamond/Pearl version comes to show the DS power!
However, the gameplay could be better...
It's the same since the first game...
But pokemon lovers are pokemon lovers! ;D

red was a great game imo but i was young to. about 7 or 8 i believe. using the rare candy cheat from the pokemon that was all numbersand wierd stuff. you had to surf to find it. but i played diamond up until after the 7th badge and i got burnt out. cant really take it anymore. ill probably play diamond when it comes out but i doubt ill finish it either unless it has some major upgrades and a different style of play. just feels like the same thing over and over. prolly cauise it is. lol.
