[NDS] Pokemon Conquest AP Topic and Discussion

    WOAH.

    I downloaded this just to say I did, and I didn't expect it to work. It did! Thank you.

    I downloaded and installed a fresh copy of 1.8.9z and loaders and was getting stuck on the loading screen on my Acekard 2i using the patched rom you uploaded. No idea why, but using the folder you uploaded resulted in a success. Thank you!!

    Okay, for some reason the usual method of right clicking the drive and formatting didn't work.
    Had to use the Panasonic SDFormatter, then just stole/borrowed iluvfupaburgers's files and prepatched game and tried it in desperation.

    Then, all the magic of Equestria came and it worked!
    Yeah, I'm crazy, but thanks a lot for the help you've been providing!

    the pre patched rom doesnt work with galaxy eagle (copy of r4) T_T

    im using the kingston 4gb micro sd card btw

    I've been fiddling around with it, and while it's working on my 4GB MicroSD card, it's not working on my 8GB MicroSD card. Same files on both. Other games work fine, it's just this one giving me trouble. Any idea why?

    part of the file could be occupying a bad block on the memory card

    Tested patched rom on DeSmuMe SVN r3947; works well. Except do not try to do a wireless download for additional content. It'll show up an error "ARM 7 - can't allocate processor". Seems like the AP patcher is just for the game part, not yet solve the WiFi AP.

    Tested unpatched rom on DeSmuMe SVN r4292; works well. But WIFI feature will not work at all. Same with JIT version.

    Can't test wireless connection on my console since I haven't any WIFI (WEP) connection to link to it. Maybe someone here willing to test doing WIFI download; the Motonari and Motochika story is available for download since June 18th. Please test and report result. Thanks.

    most likely who those not working even with prepatched rom is ur microsd card problem.. either get faster 1 cause now the microsd even for 16gb is freaking cheap

    I used your prepatched ROM, your AKAIO files on a clean re-formatted microSD and it still hangs at the yellow loading screen.

    I can only say try a different SD card. As I mentioned I got it working with the pre-patched files and iluvfupaburgers' files on one microSD card, but I've yet to get success with the other microSD card.

    Well it's the only one I have so no luck there.

    Managed to acquire a 2GB from my sister's blackberry and it works now... such a shame, I had an 8GB one even though it still loads all games except for PokeBlack.

    I should mention that I'm using the prepatched ROM and iluv's AKAIO files.

    I tried WiFi download earlier on my Acekard 2i AKAIO 1.8.9z using the patched ROM and it downloaded just fine. Though I'm not sure how to activate the event in the game itself, it only says the event only available in "Legend of Ransei" part.

    Thanks for confirming, seems like it may be an issue on my side. I'll have to check on it again.

    Anyway, after downloading the event, you will be able to play it after you have reach a certain point in the game. Only then will you be able to make friends with those 2 guys. Those who hasn't download the event will not be getting that story unlocked unless they download it as well. There are 6 additional stories if not mistaken that will be available within the coming months. Thanks again.

    Re-tested by deleting the old save file. And now the download feature work flawless. ;D

    By the way, just for everyone's info; you can't exchange save file with the JPN version. At least on my side, I've tested doing so and the rom won't recoqnize it. I was hoping it would since I had already got all downloadable content for the JPN version. It sucks, but that's ok. Just need to wait for the US version events to show up within the coming days/weeks/month. :p

    Off topic:

    Pokemon Global Link is now back in business. At least the main web page is brand new and not looking childish as before.

    You have to open it with GBA BIOS on No$GBA to get it working

    The patched ROM also works on R4i Gold Wood
