Perhaps not the place as it's said in the first post that it works, but I can't get it working through Desmume. Latest version (I think) but I just get the 'white screen'.

 

I'd be okay with the AP if it played vuvuzelas.

The "Password" option in the Menu is blacked out for me and I'm running it on Desmume 0.9.8 clean.Looks like AP.

 

I'm pretty sure the password function is locked until you progress further into the game. At least thats how it was in the Japanese version.

 

Yes it it. You can start using it once the game teaches you how to link/catch pokemon.
