    All patched versions will work on all cards. If there are errors, then something is wrong.

    ive tried patched versions i got from the forum and from torrents patched with ap fixes and all but it doesnt seem to start up every time it just hangs. it works on my desmume though


    i am currently using the ones i dl'ed from here, black goes to white screen while white is stuck on the loading screen

    Okay, the freezing is back and in full force.

    The game is not freezing pretty repetitively whenever I do a bunch of things. Some which I've found include progressing with the story (up to Lacunosa Team Plasma Encounter), going through my items (seems to freeze randomly on scrolling through TMs) and on occasion, walking through grass (no encounter, just freezes).

    In all cases of freeze, the music continues, there is no white or black screen. Before it also froze when halfway through conversation with other characters (mainly at set points, e.g. meeting Bianca) and once or twice when XP was being awarded.

    I'm using a R4i 3DS (set for most recent patch and firmware) using a 4GB Sandisk microSD (on card is has HC underneath the MicroSD symbol). I'm unsure as to what is consistently freezing it, but I'd like to see if I can kill it off completely now. Any ideas on how to get rid of these random freezes?

    Thanks for the comprehensive info.
    It makes our life easier.

    Have you tried YSMenu? It's a lot better than the official firmwares these days. Download it from the thread in 'Flashcart Help' and install it to you card. I also suggest updating it uses Jhon 591's dats.

    If that does or doesn't work, report back.

    the thread seems so long and I can't find any guides for the no$gba...

    what I've done so far that made it seem to work but not fully:

    2. set the save type to FLASH512
    3. save settings & reset emulator with cartridge to direct start
    ... then pokemon works...
    4. press start button
    5. DISABLE AR code (press F2, remove check, then press ok)
    6. press new game
    ... this part works then up to the intro screen (the one where the camera pans down after showing the season) and after that, when the screen fades to black it crashes.

    has anyone made this work with the no$gba emulator? don't suggest me DeSuMe because I don't want to use it
    *note I have already patched this ROM before doing anything with it, also tried with the unpatched rom but surely won't work

    What you're looking for is on an independent topic.
    What you forgot/missed is the need to use No$Zoomer instead of directly using No$GBA, and some wrong steps.

    Finally got it fully to work, except the wifi. I have internet with the other games (Like Pokémon Black or SoulSilver.) But why doesn't this Wifi work? D: I really want the pokemon Genesect, etc.

    You could at least tell us what you play the rom on. But WIFI works normal, no issues with the rom, except don't expect to go online using No$GBA or No$Zoomer. Check your WFC settings, might have missed something. As for what you want, too late, the Genesect event is already over 13 days ago (Nov 12th).

    I am very sorry for not providing any informatio and would like to ask you a few things on how to get pokemon white and black 2 to work on my 3ds
    i am currently using the upgraded new r4itt.net flashcart with the latest firmware 5.05
    i also dont have any knowledge on how to use r4wood and ysmenu but has been reading about them since i've seen them talked about a lot of times in the pokemon b/w2 help page
    i would be sincerely thankful if you could give me a bit of insight

    Tried pre-patched rom or patch the rom on your own using DS-Scene Rom Tool?
    If you did but it still doesn't work then;
    You'll have to re-check your cart's official website for updates or request in the site to ask for an update.

    WoodR4 doesn't support your cart. I did a quick check in the YSMENU topic, can't find your cart being among the supported in the list.
    However, try re-reading the topic in the FLASHCART SECTION.

    Hello, I downloaded the pre-patched ROM, I am running it on Acekard 2i, all software latest, but I couldn't run it with cheats on, when I turned cheats off, it was fine. How to make it able to run with cheats on? (I don't want to download new ROM because I have to restart the game, and I am already at the Plasma Frigate)

    Downloading a new rom, won't necessarily require you to re-start the game from zero, unless..... when you used that cheat code you currently have causes the save file to become corrupted, only then you'll have no choice but re-start. You could just re-name the rom (.NDS) to match the save file (.SAV). That include if let's say you had initially played using USA rom, then change to JPN or EU rom, the save file created when using USA rom, can be use on the JPN and/or EU rom, just match the names of both files (the .NDS and .SAV).

    As for the cheat issue, I hardly ever cheated, so all I can do is make assumption. Maybe the cheat code you have is meant for clean/unpatched rom, thus when run on the patched rom, it's not matching thus not run. Or maybe the cheat code you have is faulty and might need you to look from alternative source. It could also be due to you trying to active too many cheats at same time, or among the many cheats you activated maybe one or two of it is faulty. One thing for sure, if you are using patched rom, don't activate the AP Bypass and No EXP cheat code, since patched rom had dealt with those 2 issues.

    Ok, thanks, but previously I had tried to change ROMs, but I always get a new game no matter what I do to the .SAV, renaming it, copy-pasting it, so i'll try to see what I can do when I get to my DS later.

    When renaming either the .NDS to match the .SAV or vice versa, make sure to match both names to the dot, even the spacing of each word matters. When done properly, the new rom will immediately recoqnize the save file as if it was created using that new rom. One note though, do remember to back up the save file before you do anything, especially since you don't want to lose your progress should a copy of the save file become corrupted, you will still have an un-corrupted back up. An important practice that tends to be taken for granted, but regreted when not done should an issue arised.

    I dont know if this has been posted yet but:

    The Trainer Card does not change when you complete one of the requirements such as beating the Elite 4 or completing White Tree Hollow. Currently I have those 2 completed but my Trainer Card does not reflect that.

    So I dont know how this can be fixed for current saves of the game but this could be fixed for future saves.
