    Could probably do with a hand.

    I've got the game working pretty well, however I'm getting random freezes every 10+ minutes, at non-specific intervals (in conversation, entering areas, upon levelling up and in one case catching a pokemon), it's becoming irritating and I'd like to see if fixing it is a possibility.

    I'm using a R4i-3DS (up to 1.63b with firmware updates on-cart) and using a Sandisk 4GB microSD card. On multiple occasions I have tried formatting, but it seems to have no effect. The card itself is pretty empty, and I'm barely using 1GB, let alone all 4. Any ideas on how to fix it?

    Side note: also cannot get soft reset to work, and on some occasions a freeze cannot be fixed by returning to home and rebooting (actual card will just play dead. Upon a complete reset it'll work again).

    Now, running on the R4i itself is surely not possible, so what secondary firmware are you using? WOOD? If so, use clean/unpatched rom if you are already using the latest v.1.53 WOOD. Also make sure to visit your cart's official website to see if they have new update for the main R4i's firmware. A cart can run several firmware, it's main firmware, and a secondary firmware (WOOD/YSMENU/AKAIO). Make sure both are the latest version. And...I assume you are using cheats? That could be the major cause if you are using it. Certain cheats could cause glitches if its not a code made well. Try using as limited cheats as possible. If already using latest secondary firmware that support BW 2, then don't activate any cheats to bypass AP or no EXP issues. Since the secondary firmware has already solved those 2 issues, no need to activate those 2 cheats. You could also try downloading a fresh rom or create a fresh save file to just try see if after making sure the 2 firmwares are up to date but still causes issues (even without using cheats), maybe it's a glitch in the rom copy you got or defected save file.

    I mean, even without the password to extract a RAR file after downloading (different story if not even possible to download it in the first place), a failed to extract case (due to not having password), will still I think result to the showing of the CRC code isn't it? But anyway, doesn't quite matter in any case since the easiest to know what link is said to contain what is by simply joining/visit the forum and read the posts. So the use of passwords doesn't quite matter in some cases, though it does stall anyone who downloaded the file by method of file searching using certain website that compiles all sort of shared files.

    I'm not using any secondary firmware whatsoever. It runs fine except for the afformented issues. The R4i 3DS got an update 3 weeks ago (base site being R4i-SDHC.com) that let it slip through the AP of the game, both black 2 and white 2. As I believe someone else mentioned, this isn't/may not be a cart issue, it's to do with the SD itself.

    If it helps at all, two files seem to keep mysteriously appearing inside the SD car: DEMON0 and SYSRESET. I can assume the SYSRESET one is to do with soft resets, but the other seems a little out of place in the root of my card. Other than that, all the games are put in an individual folder instead of the root, is there any possibility that may have an effect on the performance of the card/game?

    Yes Any password will make the CRC32 code incorrect while in .rar are .zip untill it's extracted.

    someone is uploading white version of EUR at this moment in time, But with shareing same game ID as USA its going to be an odd issue.

    Yes checked and are the same, also loads on DSTT/YSMenu same as USA .

    Strange, it's not froze in a while now. Not sure what was triggering it, but the random freezing appears to be gone now.

    For those of you who had bought the Pokemon Dream Radar app from the 3DS Online Store, here are some unlocking codes for US/EU;
    1. Special Extention A (Beldum): Up, Right, Down, Left, X, R, L
    2. Special Extention B (Slowpoke): Up, Down, Right, Left, Y, R, L
    3. Special Extention C (Hoothoot): R, L, Y, X, Left, Right, Y, X

    There are 8 other pokemon to get from the apps 3 from BW and 5 from older version.

    The front of the card says "R4ge games engine" Upgrade Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS).

    firmware I am using is the R4-SDHC (for card without (i) mark)
