I have WPA2 internet security. For now I'll set up a guest network under WEP. I'm glad you reminded me...

EDIT: I'm going with Pearl version, USA version.

just try 1 game for testing to see if its working , dosn't matter what game is used

How do you set up a guest network under WEP? SOunds like it doesn't affect the default security system and my mom bitched at me when I changed it to WEP.

yes

you setup your ds with mariokart game , so it can connect to the internet.

Lol, it should be an option under your wireless setting in the router. Just log into your router and see if that's an option. It's fairly easy and it doesn't effect your wireless signal strength unless you have a super-computer sucking up bandwidth on it. Fortunately, a ds is not a supercomputer. Tell that to your mom. Oh, and it can be disabled without losing settings on it as well and re-enabled whenever needed.

FARCRY, I've connect to my router through the wifi setting in pokemon Pearl, the game I'll be testing. Also, I have downloaded Wood-dumper, yet I don't see it on my Flash cart when turned on.

could be that you have game map as first , you can put wooddumper also in there

Yeah that's what I did before. I thought there was a way to mask it. She gets on wifi and has her own custom password, unfortuntely when I changed to WEP I was forced to use a random key so she knew :/

Ok, so I can see wooddumper now... It's an unrecognized icon. Clicking on it does nothing. On Akaio 1.9.0.

Just use the wooddumper.nds with in the downloaded file, and place it on your flahscard, Run it like you do same with an nds game.

I did, it is labled "Wooddumper_r85.7z" Should I rename it, it is rough 178 bytes in size?

EDIT EDIT EDIT. I see the issue, didn't realize it was a 7 zip right?

yes unpack and use wooddumper.nds

Yes you can use nomal winrar to extract files also from 7zip arcives.

They is a file within called wooddumper.nds

Alright, I got it to read the card, but I was unable to load the page after putting in the correct IP into the address bar. I'm using Chrome, any suggestions?

I also managed to connect to wifi with the DS so I'm not sure if this is a problem with using a guest network.

Thanks, that did it. Appreciate the help guys, I have successfully dumped Pearl I think.

I'll see if I can get my hands on Black 2 now.
