    WoodR4 1.50 does seem to work. Cheats and soft reset on. There is also no freezing when enabling the cgear.

    That is strange, try upgrading to wood 1.50 I have no freezes on anything so far with 2gb kingston regular R4.

    Could you test the fixes above ?, With the woodR4v1.50 AP fixes converted into the extinfo.dat for DSTT/YSMenu for R4 original ... if you have a spare microSD chip

    If not don't matter , tnk.

    I can try, but my friend is not letting me use her spare microSD chip. In addition, what do you mean by fixes? Are you talking about yours or Masamune Date's? Good thing I got the original R4 a week after release day since I heard most complaints are from the clones.

    No it's woodr4v1.50 fixes impmented into the extinfo.dat this file contains boot loading and AP fixes

    But the wood fixes could fix over issues like wifi are this C-gear issue

    Reversed AP patch.

    1. The idea is to Reverse translated ROM AP patch back to it's original DATA
    2. Why ?, Some firmwars contain there own AP patch, This can confuse over riding data, causing many issues like freezing again are many saving issues to... So we replace the translated ROM AP data back to it's original form.

    Useage

    1. Get your translated ROM CRC32 Code from it's zip/rar/7zip ext archive
    2. Open Gamelist.txt and edit [ROM CRC32 HERE] Place in CRC32 Code between [ ] , and save Gamelist.txt file
    3. Drag an drop ROM onto pather to make a recovered AP withdraw .

    Alternatively,

    If you want to give a shot at using clean rom (without adding AP Fix to the rom) by only adding the English translation files, do this;
    1. Prepare a clean JPN region Pokemon Black 2 rom (Unpatched)
    2. Download this package : http://www.mediafire.com/?gqxfbndroj3mxkn
    3. Extract the package;
    You should see these:
    a. NitroExplorer2b.exe
    b. file 2 and file 3 (from translation patch v.2.3 Black 2)
    4. Copy and place a copy of your clean rom in the extracted folder
    5. Run the NitroExplorer2b program and choose LOAD
    6. Choose the clean rom
    7. You should see a folder named as "a"
    8. Click on the "a" folder and it should show a sub folder name "0"
    9. Click on the "0" folder and it should show a sub folder name "0" again
    10. Click on the "0' folder and it should show files 0-9
    11. Highlight file "2" and press REINSERT
    12. Choose the file "2" provided in the extracted package, DONE/OK
    13. Do the same for file "3", DONE/OK
    14. Close the program. Copy your edited rom to your SD Micro and test it.
    It should work now on the RGF v.6.83 or Jhon591 v.6.83 rxxxx.

    The same situation is with me, when I open pokemon summary. or open the bag, the game freezes, and when bianca gives me 10 pkballs, the game freezes.Its odd.....

    Hmm, i have the same problem with the summary, YouTube videos are stupid, there aren't really good videos that show you how to fix this.

    Yeah i have a lot of codes but i can't insert them to a rom, when i play it on my NDS LITE, i have a clean rom but i can gain XP and stuff, the only thing is really this summary thing. HOW THE HELL DO I FIX THIS`?
