I don't own Luminous Arc or any of it affiliates. Atlus owns it. I only bought a copy of the game. Also images are from Wikipedia and gamespot.

Rating: ESRB rates it T (Teen)

I really liked this game, because of it's contrversy and the plot twists it had. The story was really interesting and it really made me feel like I was a part of the story. I found myself trying to gather information in the games libraries and to discover the truth. In all honesty some of the chracters really felt shallow, while others were very deep and had some real character development. THey also had lots of stuff to customize your character. For those of you who have played Tactics Ogre:Knight of Lodis on the GBA will find this game very familiar. Unfortunately there won't be any class changes.

Presentation 10/10 I LOVED THE STORY. I saw a lot of emotional scenes and I had a lot of fun helping characters do what they needed. The enemies really annoyed me as the main enemies border lined arrogance. Like they say, you can't be ordered to hate someone, you've really got to hate them at a personal level. I also love how you whole world will be turned upside-down by the end of the game.
Here's the story of the game: According to the Luminous Church, the Witches and Dragons fought on this world causing destruction, so the god of the world used his power to seal them away. The Witches draw their power from rune in order and they use Lapisters to get more power. So as the Garden Children (Teenagers trained to fight Witches) you have to get these Lapisters. But I won't say anymore as you should play the game.

Graphics - 7/10 On visual aspects, during the story dialogue it's flat. Nothing to exceptional. THe graphics are decent, but not perfect.

Gameplay - 8/10 What I didn't really like about this game was the forced usage of the stylus. My fault I actually played this game only using the stylus, but you can play on the D-pad. Thanks Reider. The game is interesting, but it's basic Tactical RPG. 2 forces go in and only one comes out. The intermission is interesting though between the games as it's awesome to develop bonds between your main character and other characters. You also have the ability to forge some super weapons with the right gathered material (A.K.A. Vitae)

Sound - 7/10 That's one hell of a soundtrack. The music was great and it matched the context. It was interesting and I liked it.

Replayability - 8/10 Replaying this game is totally worth it. One of the most important things to is to try and build up the max relationship with Cecelia. I won't say why but make sure to do it before you she changes.. Anyway there is a lot of replay value as you will be able to play on a higher difficulty, also a new dungeon will open up. You can also play your friends online, fighting them to prove who is the better strategist.

Overall Rating - 40/50 Buy it!!!

    Summary:
This is a great game and it provides a lot of fun. It is very plot heavy and the cases are very surprising. The music only adds to the mood and feelings you get. This line you'll recognize this from my Apollo Justice:Ace Attorney but it applies here. The game is nothing without the plot and the music only adds on to it. beware though there will be some level-grinding required.

I'm not sure if you realized or not, but there IS an option to let you play with the d-pad instead of the stylus. Just go into the options menu and highlight the option "controls" and change it until it says "no stylus" and you can play it with the d-pad instead.
