Did anyone manage to make the game work for R4 SDHC Revolution for DS?

I have tried everything including YSmenu/TTMenu and it didnt work. I've got firmaware 1.34 running and WAIO. Both of wich havent been updated for a very long time.

btw, back to the topic, any technical issues on how we can bypass the anti-piracy section ?

or we just randomly deleted binaries that we suspected to be the anti-piracy part ?

Open a copy your ROM with a hex-edtor and lean hex decibels , offsets , - RAM thumb/arm est

The freezing issue was already fixed , but no one came up with the black screen bypass somewhere in the offset's and editing hex should bypass this blackscreen issue

Now it was fixed in ram for extinfo.dat for TTDS and YSMenu - if that could be edted into a cheat file, i could work but i dought it as some extinfo.dat ram areas are diffrent then cheats ram are

Not you personally - but its a good way to start by always using a copy of the original ROM copy/paste

Take ones time, allitle bit hear allitle bit there! - no rush.

yes i have, so i have no choice but to use r4 original with firmware v1.18.

downgrade your firmware, preferably to 1.2x
1.34 has a hack of YSMenu in it so you can't put another YSMenu without both of them conflicting

a friend of mine has just encountered a weird problem
everytime he saves the game, an encounter with a Dim Dragon always follows and needless to say, his party got their ass kicked
he's using Ak2i running on AKAIO 1.8.1 with enabled AP bypass
Has anyone else encountered this problem?

 

Maybe you need to complete something before you do that? I once played this game and there was this part where if I went to a certain place I would fight a guy with infinite hp. I had to unock some item or cutscene before I could move on. Cuz that is one weird ap if it is one.

well, after some googling on the internet, i found that apparently this happens to other acekard users on the AKAIO forum
so i'm guessing that this is some kind of an AP, maybe the bypass system on AKAIO missed it?

well probably never. all the decent cards got their updates (acekard, wood r4, supercard dstwo) so no one really cares about the few cards that no longer are updated. so unless rudoulph makes a rucpp, which he normally only does for japanese games, your probably never gonna get a patch

my advice, get a new card. yours is behind the times.
