I should say that neither patch works on the Cyclo. But if you get two 0 KB files, read the debug data. The steps above won't help you. It will likely say one of two things.
1:"xdelta.exe: open gsddu.nds failed: No such file or directory"
Which means you didn't rename the file to gsddu.nds. Read the readme.
2:" xdelta.exe: expected from file (gsddu.nds) of length 268435456 bytes
This means your rom isn't the right size. The patcher is looking for a specific size to patch so that it gets the offsets right. Your dump isn't EXACTLY 268435456 bytes? Find one that is, or artificially pad the ROM with a hex editor.

Patch 1 and Patch 2 create identical rom files, which is suspicious. (In other words all 268435456 bytes in "gsddu-pc1.nds" and "gsddu-pc2.nds" are exactly the same. I checked) In fact the only difference between the patch files themselves are the filename to output to stored with in them. (0x000037 = 0x31 in patch candidate 1. 0x000037 = 0x32 in patch candidate 2. 0x31 is the character "1". 0x32 is the character "2" for the curious)

The identical roms outputted to "gsddu-pc1.nds" and "gsddu-pc2.nds" are however very, very different from the original rom.

 

there is a way to go around the encounter AP and GBATEMP provided it unlowlingly, for those with Ysmenu and 0 encounter or card that this works in , enable the 0 encounters AR code holding the START button will trigger encounters, so far its a workaround

Yeah, I apparently have the Robotkillers version of the ROM, but it doesn't match the required KB? I'm hoping this is what fixes the ingame AP with the Dim Dragon. :/

 

i may ask a stupid question? i dont know how to turn off the AP patch defender of the Supercard ds 2? i looked by start>skin>an all other options there

Here is a little tuto for you:

1º Format your sd card(make a backup if you want..)
2º Download this: http://www.r4wood.com/Kernel/a/R4DS-V1.18 En.rar
Then, extract the files to root folder of your sd card..
3º Download this: http://filetrip.net/g35130127-Wood-R4-for-R4i-Gold-%28R4iDS%29.html
Then, extract the files to root folder of your sd card, replacing the files..

And.. at last.. 4º Go to the Wood configs and activate the AR(action replay codes) to get it working!

Try it and post results!

 

For Acekard 2i, when I'm about to battle general Ku Tsung and Ku-Embra, It shows a black screen while the music is still playing. Anyone else having this problem?
