[NDS] Golden Sun: Dark Dawn (U) AP + Compatibility Issues Topic

Used bypass AP on Acekard 2 and still doesnt work.Using a friends Acekard2 and this is the first time I've used one,so what am I doing wrong?

 

make sure you are using AKAIO 1.8.1 with the latest loaders (23/11/2010) and then enable AAP

 

for the record, I believe the latest loaders are as of 10/23/2010

You are not alone, tried every possible combination of options and still no go, just flashes white screens (the one before the Camelot logo appears) and BSoD. AK2i AKAIO 1.8.1 latest loader.

 

You guys tried enabling bypass anti piracy in the game properties right?

 

You have to change the sound settings if you haven't already.

-Synch Method "N"
-Advanced SPU Logic

Yes, you'll need a decent PC but I think that's a given. The title screen and the name selection screen are working at a good speed, but I don't have time to fully test the game right now, my apologies.

try formating the card again (backup everything before) and download a new version AKAIO 1.8.1

 

Really? cause i've got that some card and firmware and i'm just getting awhite flash and black screen of death. What settings do you have on

As a side question, my flash cart says ACEKARD 2.1 but when i boot up the ds it says acekard 2i, so what do i have?

 

The sound was pretty awful, glad there's a fix for that. The menu runs at good speed and everything, but the opening scenes move at a crawl.

 

I enabled Bypass Anti Piracy in the game settings

Go to the game, hit start, go to properties, and go down and enable bypass anti piracy if its not enabled.

 

Does not work on dstwo UNLESS you have patch 1.08. I know there is nothing about GS in the patch notes, but they fixed something in there.

 

Hopefully this would be fixed in the next TTDS/YSMenu update.

 

Yea all that was done, still nothing.Read my previous post, cause im not sure i have and acekard 2.1

I am assuming you have a 2i if it says it in the DS.

 

Hmm, okay so does not work with acekard 2i, on DSlite atleast i'll try tomorrow on my DSI
