[NDS] Golden Sun: Dark Dawn (U) AP + Compatibility Issues Topic

No, I have never had to use ysmenu before. I was just running the ttmenu on it's own. Any ideas? Or do you think I need ysmenu now?

 

I'm using a R4i SDHC on 1.28 firmware and I get a black screen when stating the game.

How do I apply the WoodR4 update?(ie what files should me on my memorystick)?

So I'm running R4DS with Wood v1.18 and I can't get it to work. I either get the white screen, or the black. I'm new to the Wood updates. I've been off my DS for a long time (PSP). People are saying they got it to work. What am I doing wrong. Any suggestions?

For Dsemu: the sound at the beginning is messed up for some reason and the title screen at the bottom distorts when you are trying to click on it. The intro seems to lag.
At least for the lolcatz one.

 

Emulation -> Shut Up to get rid of the horrid screeching buzz.
Config -> Emulation Settings -> Uncheck Enable Advanced Bus-Level Timing I believe was said to reduce the lag some, the game will still have some lag issues, particularly in battles in my experience though, but it's playable.

I got it to work with a 4gb card, AK 2i Akaio 1.8.1, latest loaders, and AP on. I formatted the card, updated the loaders, and used to LOLCats release. Hopefully this helps those with the black screen issue.
