is there anyway i could update my wood r4 1.15 clone's game library. im using a r4 upgrade III. so far games such as pokemon black/white, kingdom hearts recoded, and other new games are working except this. i had the Japanese version working tho.

 

I wanted to know...does the DSTTi can have the Wood update? Or does it only take the TTMenu and YSMenu?

 

Actually the game can be loaded(through BIOS), the only problems is massive graphic glitches which can't be fixed until newer version of this emulator is released, or its addons.

Speed issue is normal in DeSmuMe, you can try following Reme's suggestion, but the effect may vary to your gameplay compared to his, where the option either makes your emulation speed to increase or decrease, which happened to me and others.

Guys I've got it working pretty well with DeSmuME.
FPS display says 46/30 99% almost all the time. good?

However I think I'm having problems with sound. There is no speech sound when there is conversation even though the in game option is enabled. There was no sound effects for psynergy in battles, or for jumping etc, or menu select sounds, or pysnergy sounds outside battle. I doubt this is normal..

Sounds working are music and sound when I pick up an item.
Someone suggested using Synchronisation Mode: Synchronous but that just messed up the sound, constant loud drone and making it 'shut up' didnt fix it.
They also suggested -Advanced SPU Logic, I didnt notice any change with that...

Any way to make the sounds work properly!?

EDGE released it's new firmware EDGE OS 2.0 but doesn't solve the black screen issue on Golden Sun, it is just some fixed from several games that didn't run on EDGE before.

Yeah I've got it running at like 45/30 FPS and it says 99%
Can it still be 'running slow' even when it says 99%? Because it does seem slow. and as my previous post, it seems to be missing almost all sound effects, just has music and stuff..

Mine runs at 60/30(99%),but it will drop to 40/25(99%) when 'Advanced Bus-Level Timing' set to enabled.
The speed will however decrease a bit slower during the Battle Mode(and events), but back to normal after that,
though it can get even slower by using AB-LT.

Did you set the Synchronization Mode to 'Synchronous' instead of 'Dual SPU Synch/Asynch'?
If yes, that is what causing missing sounds in the item menu, speech, etc.
Only use that if the game is running on default speed, which is 60/60(100%/99%), and on certain games.
Just change it to 'Dual SPU Synch/Asynch', with 'Advanced SPU Logic' enabled, Interpolation to 'Linear'(optional), and it should work fine.
