ok, idk i might be doing something wrong, but when searching for the address you posted jhon, my hex editor brings me to a line full of zeros, while at the side the address it takes me too is 1474, i might be the one wrong here, so a little help >_<

OK Devilkid32176 , Start a fresh as long as you have a backup copy, always use a backup. and very much take your time.

It ant easy I know, But very hard to explane these thing.

Maybe CrystalTile2 is a helpfull tool, and them addresses are in ARM9 only as it goes into compressed RAM that needs to be decompressed with CT2 just drag drop ROM onto, tools nds file system / right click on ARM9 and Extract(U)... to decompress it.

To re compress it back into memory after edited arm9 using any hex editor, right click compression... and when done just save ROM with program.

ROM Uses + 0x4000 & Address on top

2nd edit: ok, strange i inputted the coding you had up here jhon, i got to the start screen and had a working keyboard onscreen, but when i tried to start it, it white screened me and now my rom is not even booting up now >__>

Anyway you sed a dump of a save happned ?, In an emualtor battery folder...

Can you remember what you did to get the keybord working ?, go back to a certain point ...

well, from the looks of it, i apparently forgot to correct the ARM9 when i put it back into the rom >__>
just glad this is an off day for me or else i would have threw in the towel on this

 

looks like good fast we get already 90% playable.

If I use patch the ROM manuly, "No issue" with research complete .

Auto patch it using the patcher and yes this happens. ???

so this is a little hard to fix and get work on emulator issue that i saw on the game is Save trought on the Keyboard so there a way to Reverse

only patching 2 adress and 2ch patch, game is now working on emu

 

ok, got failures running the patch with these cards

Acekard/Akaio 1.9.0 (gets the wireless keyboard failed to setup)
R4 (Wood 1.52) (same issue as above)
DSTwo (white screen/will not boot up)

 

Ok removed.
