Re: nds 2009 rpgs Phantasy Star 0 is missing that traditional PSO grindy feel; to me anyway. Nothing matched the giddy feeling when you slaughter a toooon of mobs, or a rare mob, & see that red box. ^^ Even when it wound up being a $%&*ing photon drop. lmao I understand the convenience of having the piƱata box system, but eh... it's not the same as just having mobs drop crap. Plus, I just miss the endless waves of mobs in PSO. Endless Nightmare quests were awesome - or how about old school Towards the Future? ;3
Re: nds 2009 rpgs I wish it was out now so you could find something new to go on about. this is all I can find: "We do not yet have a US/Euro release date for Luminous Arc 3: Eyes" or TBA or N/A But seeing it releases in Japan Dec 10th I would estimate maybe we would see it around March/April
Re: nds 2009 rpgs you know Apo after Luminous Arc 3 is going to be out I'm going to nag you for Luminous Arc 4
Re: nds 2009 rpgs ^ Agreed. Followed by Order of Eccelesia, then Portrait of Ruin... which I really didn't enjoy too much. DoS had an addictive quality for me, in trying to collect every spirit, & the challenge felt just right. OoE's weapon system just doesn't match that, & it's difficulty is truly 'wtf'-worthy at some points. PoR... eh, I just never got into the two character system, & the magic felt brokenly powerful to me.
Re: nds 2009 rpgs I miss only 2 or 3 spirits in DoS : I enjoyed PoR, and OoE isn't that good for me, I didn't like new weapon system. If they used spirit system in every part, they would be more interesting, because it's great
Re: nds 2009 rpgs now this looks like my kind of game http://www.square-enix.co.jp/est/ and this too http://www.crotre.com/ its a bright future for us rpg gamers.
Re: nds 2009 rpgs yeah although we're looking at a 2010 or even 2011 relaese and theres the possibilaty it will only be in japanese =/ never the less they do look like amazing games.
Re: nds 2009 rpgs Yeah, it's a remake of Lufia II - Rise of Sinistrals. Buuuut, they're changing it from a classic turn-based battle system to an action RPG... which really makes me skeptical... because I really haven't enjoyed any action RPG system. -__-;; We shall see though, I highly doubt they'll choose not to translate it fairly quickly, because all the Lufias (even the crapass ones) have eventually come to the USA.
Re: nds 2009 rpgs ok this is good news, im glad that some who who knows more than me about this stuff. although action rpgs aren't as good on ds im still quite a big fan of them so lets just hope for these ones then.
