    Re: nds 2009 rpgs

Personally I am looking forward to A.S.H. , Knights in the Nightmare and Devil Survivor. Blazer drive, Dungeon raiders and Dawn of Heroes also look interesting. To be honest I think Black Sigil looks like an ugly mess of a game, I will give it a go if it ever gets released but I do not expect it will be a great game.

Dont get your hopes too high for Blazer Drive, since it's a manga, and you know how hard games from derived from animes/mangas are hard to license for a world-wide release, even an american release

    Re: nds 2009 rpgs

It's a traditional turn-based RPG with some twists. Psynergy, the game's magic system, is useable both inside and outside of battle. There are Djinni, accessories of sorts with four separate effects - when set, they boost stats and change your class and available Psynergy, when Unleashed they perform certain in-battle effects or attacks, when on Standby they can be used in conjunction with each other to Summon stuff). There's a World Map, various towns and dungeons. Djinni are highly collectable and it's always best to find them all, especially since they allow access to very powerful classes, Psynergy and bonus dungeons.

More like Final Fantasy,Dragon Quest and so forth. its great, you should nab them off the downloads and try them yourself to really get the ideal.

No, they're turn-based strategy RPGs. This is like Final Fantasy - you pick attacks/whatever, then your party performs your commands in turn based upon their Agility.

    Re: nds 2009 rpgs

The game has your characters use magic called psynergy which they possess and dont inherit because of items like in final fantasy. They also contain powerful creatures called Djinns that lends their powers and also helps the characters in the game but they are scattered within the game so you have to look for them. They are of different elements and are differentiated by planets like Water for Mercury, Venus for Earth, Jupiter or Wind and Mars for Fire. When you have a certain amount of Djinns you can summon powerful beings such as Thor the thunder god of the vikings, Ramses the earth king of Egypt and so on. You attack in turns just like final fantasy when facing a boss or monster. All in all its a game where you solve puzzles and riddles, battle monsters, gain items and follow up story lines.
