Actually, I don't really like any of these. You're overusing the smudge tool. Of course it helps, to work in your render, but...it's just, you know, always the same even if you change the settings a bit here and there. What's more important, there isn't any flow in your works. You have a character, then you have a background and...effects. Sure, some effects look flashy and cool, but overall it doesn't end up too good. You could use more light render and some filters to add more depth.
I'm not saying that you're bad or something, but you could be better. Anyway, practice is everything, isn't it? Oh, and you could try to experiment a bit more often^^

I guess I'll have to take back what I said, that's really a huge improvment. Some of them are a little bit pale my opinion, but I'm far from perfect either. Anyway, I think your portfolio has some nice stuff now, keep up the good work and always try to improve^^
