    What is overclocking ?
    Does it help in any ways ?
    My pc is total vintage .........
    Pentium D 3.00 Ghz
    1gb ram
    Intel G31/33 chipset (384mb graphics)
    :D LOL ......
    Any benefits in overclocking ?

    no, if you overclock that processor it will melt.

    get a decent graphics card and more ram for a start.

    its old. It will work for most games if you upgrade the ram and put a decent graphics card in the computer, but it will get very hot and waste a lot of electricity.

    Yes i also sometimes feel that i am overburdening my processor !
    It sometimes produce noise and sometimes it automatically shuts off !

    You know what i still dream of playing cod modern warfare , crysis series , bioshock , assassins creed , halo 2 and many more.
    But due to lag in pc requirements its all a dream......
    I am deciding to by a pc with these requirements (according to my budget ) :
    Amd 3.3ghz am3 fx 6100 processor
    sapphire amd radeon hd 6670 1gb ddr3 graphics card
    asus m5a88-m motherboard
    corsair vengeance ddr3 4gb ram
    seagate barracuda 500gb internal hard drive...
    Fine na ?

    get a phenom II 965 instead of the fx, and a HD6850 instead of the 6670. You also need a case, a power supply and a cooler for the processor, and arctic silver 5 thermal paste

    phenom II performs better per core than the fx, and is cheaper, and the 6850 radeon is the best bang for buck card currently available.

    the 560 is a dual core, you want a 945, 955 or 965 which are quad core.

    That's not available in flipkart ... They have fx ,sempron,A10 , and Intel core processors ....

    Absolutely correct ! I am in 12 th standard final year in school . Only 2 months left for my final exams . After that i will upgrade my pc.
