MP4 files on an R4.

my guess is, they let it slide because you chose to use their encoder instead of an mp3

well, every time I let someone charge their ipod on my computer, failtunes tries to blank it, and that's not good when you delete the (not so)original files

they are, they just want your money.
Also, NEVER have apple products engraved, even from apple. That voids the warranty, and they won't 'fix' it/send you some OTHER ipod/thing they had laying around.

 

Now I do not want an iPod Touch anymore.
