Yeah using Moonshell, i have the MP4 files in a folder called "Media" and whenever i access this folder from the multimedia section, the folder is always empty!

You need to use either Moonshell (2) or an other media player.

I prefer Moonshell 2 as it has great functions and good audio support.

If you have, I recommended putting it in an "Music" folder.

You can only play audio files in Moonshell, not in the R4 kernel.

EDIT: Or convert the .mp4 file to .mp3. Moonshell plays .mp3.

I converted the MP4 to MP3 (By just changing the file extension) And for some reason my R4 plays it in like... 500x normal speed!

Bad conversion, use better mp3 encoder.

You should be able to play MP4 music files on the DS with Moonshell 2.10 which is the final release of the project.

The bitrate plays a factor, too

You must use an converter, just changing won't work.

or go and get itunes, then go and select in advance create aac, but you can change the file format too, so go to to preferences, select adjust for importing CD, select the 3rd option and put it as mp3 with Superior quality 192 kbps

dont use itunes, it adds drm to your files.

Not to mention installs a couple of useless addon apps that don't know the term disable or delete.
I can manage my audio fine by myself, craptunes >_>

    Drm?

    iTunes works just fine here...

if you encode with it, you won't see much issue, but as soon as you delete or remove the failtunes, it'll try to nuke your stuff.

    DRM = FAIL

    ..?

Why? I deleted it and still nothing (I already deleted it for a few months)

then you either didn't encode anything with it, or your music existed before failtunes could rape it

I downloaded music after iTunes was installed, and I converted MP3 to AAC (M4A) with it...
