Touchpads are more compact than mice, so they're nice in that aspect, but a mouse offers faster movement and more precision.

I voted mouse, but if I had my way I'd do everything with the keyboard.

it's only a tv with a touch input digitizer, or a lcd projector, and that other one looks more like an overhead projector that can capture input, clearly NOT a multi-touch table as we were on about, also, € 1500($~2,025.75 USD) is still a lot

    Ewww, trackpoint XD

The price will come down, it's still awesome!

Hmm....this has been out some 6 years, price already came down, still expensive and quite impracticable for anything remotely useful.

Computers took a long time to come down in price too. It's just a matter of time until the technology becomes cheaper to make. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be practical for quite a few things. Imagine playing RTS games on it! :)

that's just it, that won't be considered legal in terms of fairness, just as they don't like certain controllers from being used.
Looks like it could be considered as cheating easily. :D

For netbooks or small screened Desktop PCs used for doing stuff other than gaming I think touch screens would be better than a mouse, especially if you want to draw free hand which is difficult to do with a mouse. But for gaming? I think not, especially when you play First person shooters or MMORPGs as mice & a keyboard are better suited for those.

Mouse. More control and no dirty fingerprints.

Touchpad. No extra mouse need to buy for laptop.

You are looking at the wrong board...

I mean the multitouch board for touch with anything.
But the one with the pen is also fun.

And € 1.500,- is not too much for that board + beamer.
