It's not that any of these names are BAD, so to speak, they just make us think of...other things...that are humorous.

I actually thought he was just trying to say he liked yuri until he actually started crediting himself as Yurii in credits of his work.

He's Brazilian, I think. Yurii isn't a very uncommon Brazilian name.

 

There's this one dude I used to play MAGIC with, his name was Jack Hoffman.

I remember a girl classmate and her giver first names is Joanna Henry, we call her henry for short. Well, she was extremely cute but we avoided having our girlfriend be called henry if you know what i mean.
