Most over rated movie?

i don't think they would be.

Depp is, in my opinion, one of the best actors around today. One of the few who cares about the acting not the fame or money...okay maybe a little money but mostly about the acting

 

He's versatile. Besides the eyes and the voice, you would never know that it is him in most of his roles. From Edward Scissorhands to The Pirates of the Caribbean or Chocolat, he doesn't stick to just one single cliche role.

 

I haven't tried watching Deep in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street yet, I can't stand musicals another reason I hate most of Disney Animated movies too much damn singing.

 

i hate musicals, but really enjoyed that movie

half the cast in it is from Harry Potter...well Alan Rickman (Snape) and Timothy Spall (Peter Petigrew), that's all.

 

I dont remeber only 4 people in harry potter...???

Johnny Depp is awesome: Public enemies, Alice in Wonderland, beetlejuice, Pirates of the Caribbean, sweeney todd so on, so on!

 

Ice Age 3 -

Harry Potter 4,5,6 - When the original actor for dumbledore died, it felt like the film died along with him. The new dumbledore is too energetic.

 

those are the only 2 actors in sweeney todd that are also from Harry Potter, that's like 1/3 of the cast in sweeney todd.

Johnny Depp isn't in beetlejuice.

no, beetlejuice has Michael Keaton and Alec Baldwin starring as the main 2 lead actor roles. I don't know what movie you are thinking about, I don't know much of his older work. Maybe Ed Wood or Edward Scissorhands?

 

Finally got to sit down and watch Sweeny Todd it wasn't all that bad once you get used to it think my copy was cut short at the end, Also you mentioned "Snape" and "Petigrew" from Harry Potter, but also Helena Bonham Carter "Bellatrix Lestrange" was in it.

 

Hmmm..nah, Scissor Hands cant be confused with any other movie...Its so weird.

 

Recently I've been watching a load of Will Ferrell movies.

Now I won't say they're all over-rated, but alot are. Just one in particular.. Blades of Glory.. Wasn't worth the streaming IMO.

 

Elf is awesome though...what a classic

 

Elf to me is one of the biggest surprises ever. I saw previews and I'd thought it'd suck bad like most kids movies do now a days. But it's totally awesome.

Zack and Miri make a Porno = Overrated. I was expecting more from Kevin Smith...
Every American Pie = Overrated.
Saw 1 through 14 Million = Overrated. Far too many, was dissapointed by the first... and I dont have the heart to watch the other ones.

 

agreed...except the original american pies i thought were good (1- american wedding) the spin offs since then are crap
