Well C.O.R.E just came out and I don't know what the rating will be but it's crap in my eyes and was totally over hyped. The controls are difficult and physically painful after playing for a while, there is no multiplayer wifi (no wifi at all actually) just download and multicard play (if you can find someone with the game that is). The story also lacks a bit and is quite boring.

The first big let down of 2009? quite possibly.

I was about to post something similar to this, but I'm glad you did, saved me some time :p

The story really sucks, I mean the guy's name is CRANE
    wtf? Crane?...
If it was in french, it would be fine, but in english?...

i wouldn't have cared about the story or the gameplay if it freaking had wifi....it would have made up for the downfalls, but without it, it just has way too many short comings that can't be redeemed

i thought they pushed the release date back to add wifi? or am i missing something?

From what I gather, they were published by the same company but developed by different companies.

    That explains everything
lame games from the same publisher

I'm gonna go with GTA IV. I had it for a while but it didn't interest me as much as Vice-City and Chinatown Wars.

All the publisher does is put the games out on the market. They have nothing to do with the quality of the games they publish.

I was about to edit that when I read your posts. I was googling the game developers.

They can have a negative impact on the quality of the games. EA does all the time. Basically they set unreasonable deadlines that the developers have to meet, which results in corners being cut and the quality of the finished product dropping.

Well, they don't have a direct impact on a game's quality.

In this case though, C.O.R.E was finished in November last year.

Exactly, if the game is lame, why even bother to publish it?

Perhaps because the judgment on whether a game is lame or not is better left to the gamers rather than the businessmen seeking to line their pockets?
