Most over-rated games

Well, then maybe it's time for you to try it. I used to be skeptical of it also but once you played it over the wifi of the WFC, then you will understand why the world love the Mario Kart so much. Ample of tracks, easy to learn and hard to master kinda mechanic that allow everyone to enjoy the game.

I am not judging you, no offence and it's your opinion as it's a freedom of speech here.

Other than that :-

FF7 shouldn't be overated as it serve as the template and the stepping stone for 3D RPG at the time it was launched, sure it can't be compared with the current selection games but c'mon it was THE 1st 3-D RPG and it withstood the challenge of time to remain in all gamers memories. A lot of other developers learnt a few things or 2 from it. Without it other RPG wouldn't be as great and there wouldn't be a "Advent Children" animation nor "Crisis Core",right?

And Halo is much of a gamer's preference if he's a FPS lover or not and if he's a story player (Half Life variation) or multiplayer (Counterstrike variation). It was cool coz it was the 1st few console FPS that you could play multiplayer ONLINE. At it's time it was only achievable by PC games so Halo do have its followers.

I do agree on a few choices such as Spore and Call of Duty but hey fellow forumers, here is where we share our thoughts and opinion not forcing others to agree with you. You could express your view or feedback but please don't flame others or hate each others just because he expressed his view. He may not have a hands-on which caused him/her to think of that so it's up to you to convince him/her but not flaming them.

It's good to have a healthy argument sometime but please keep it sensible and don't take it so serious.

[/quote] really? FFIV has the best storyline of any FF game, and FF6 has the best gameplay.

Comparing FF7 to FF6's gameplay just shows pure nuthuggery. It's not even close to say that executing a Bum Rush and a 5-minute Knights of the Round borefest are similar.

 

FFIV does have a good storyline, gameplay, not really.

 

Knights of the round was insane, have one of your fighting team (at the final battle with sephiroth) have Knights of the round equipped along with cast twice meteria. Then have the other two have mimic. Let the one with knights of the roung cast the spell twice then the other two mimic, confirm your action & you're done! You can have a snack, take a dump or a little nap, by the time you get back, sephiroth is dead & the game is nearly finished.

Every battle is 30minutes long, not because the enemies are that tough to beat, but simply because you cast KotR 5 straight times.

That's part three of the final battle against Sephiroth. You still have to actually win the other two parts in order to get to the scripted finale, and the tougher your team was the tougher Sephiroth would be. I never bothered with Knights of the Round, though - the actual cutscene that came along when you used the summon was a total joke and it was always far more entertaining to fight without that overpowered Materia.

i do play it on WFC and its almost impossible to find a game where someones not cheating. i did give it more time and yes its better than my first couple encounters with the game but still no where near one of the best out there. i believe that if it didn't have the mario label it wouldn't be as successful as it is

 

I just wish their clothes would freaking change.

GTA IV = man that's rock!! why it's overrated
max payne = agreed
bioshock = not too overated, it's good game

 

Did you played San Andreas? That was a "rock" game ^^
IV is of corze a good game ,but SA was a better GTA game.

Bioshock is good but over-reted. At least I think that way.
