Most over-rated games

for those ff7 haters. tell me what is actually wrong with it? give me one reasonable problem that keeps the game from getting the respect it has gotten. As far as the graphics, characters were designed in 1996. dont bitch. and that is made up for by the beautiful artwork. the music is as good as it gets. tons of content . the materia system kicks ass, and was completely innovative. characters are great. story is good. gamespeed is good. and the difficulty of it is really up to the player. it should be squeezed dry of all its worth. its perfect.

and yes of course halo is the most over rated game ever!! it shaves gorilla chode!

 

There are no FF7 hater here.We just said it need more improvement.

 

Let me add some things to the Halo-CRAP-Scene:

Halo 2 and Halo 3 are just like Pokémon, it's just an useless add to the first version, which is the best.

i have no idea why anyone considers this one of the best DS games. I will admit that i haven't played it for any other system for the DS but it gets boring after you finish 1 or 2 races

 

I actually prefer 3, Halo 2 was good at the time and it had some good features which are gone but the latest kept to the series nicely and the graphics are really good with a HD TV
And the Halo 1 pistol which is gone.. It was AWESOME!!!!!

 

Bungie probably thought it was too powerful too be a back-up weapon, which a pistol is supposed to be.

 

halo for sure is an all-time overrated, it's a bummer that it came out on top over unreal tournament. which is way better, and i think its older too. i know there both from around 97-98.

and hell ya if your old enough to have beat a few rpg's before ff7, it was completely revolutionary.

 

I think that WoW is completely. freaking. overrated. By all those nerds who keep posting on diff names saying it's the best game ever and the price tag is completely reasonable (a buck a day, 7 bucks a week, 365 bucks a year, except for leap years. then it's 366 bucks a year , 1 month=about 30$ if i remember and no i don't play WoW, not allowed to play any P2P games >.>)

 

Red Faction, it is rather repetetive (But awesome)

 

simple, it's crap compared to the previous FF games, yet it gets worldwide attention solely because it came out of a system that can easily be pirated, thus playing FF7 would almost be cost-free.

 

sorry, but thats not telling me what is wrong with it. Saying that its crap is simply name-calling. maybe another ff7 hater can actually bring up a flaw that makes the game "crap" cause you havent.

also, i mentioned the sole reason why it became popular, and yet you also failed to read that statement.

 

For me, Call Of Duty series is really boring in terms of it's single player campaign. Especially Call of Duty Modern Warfare. That game was very overrated. Now the multiplayer is a whole different story...

I actually really enjoyed the single player campaign in Halo. On the other hand the multiplayer in Halo is so boring.

Guess it all comes down to a matter of preference to each person.

Final Fantasy 7 is a fantastic game no matter what anyone says. The story, the characters, the way they are portrayed. The whole feel of the world and the atmosphere it creates.

 

Personally I Think Pokemon Is The Most Overrated,Because The Story Is always The Same During Each Game.

The Next One Is Guitar Hero,Yes It Is Great,but It's Just Getting A Bit To Repetitive.

 

I have to agree with you my friend. Pokemon does get repetitive. I mean how many times can you actually play through that story doing the same thing over and over again. Not a big fan. It had it's time but they should think of something new.

 

One game and one game only super smash bros way too over rated.I mean you just beat the crap outta nintendo charecters and snake.

Actually the previous games to FF7 weren't all that good and FF gameplay of those 6 were very similar
