    Same reason, and I don't have a next-gen console to play on.

    I actually really like FFVII... Sure, it's hyped to hell but that's Square Enix's fault for constantly going back to the game. Dirge of Cerberus, Before Crisis, Last Order and even Advent Children Complete just weren't needed. The only part of the Compilations that is, I feel, necessary, is Crisis Core (it's basically a prologue that details not only much more about how ShinRa worked, but how the Turks worked, finally told us who Zack was, showed us Cloud as who he was rather than who he has become and we also get to see Sephiroth as who he was).

    If it isn't Square Enix's fault, then I blame all the idiots who jumped on the boat. Do you realise how few fans of FFVII have actually played it, let alone beat it? I don't know what's worse - the people who think it's cool to be a fan of FFVII when they've never even played on a PSOne, or the people who think it's cool to hate on FFVII just because everyone else is doing it. It's like a neverending circle, which is a total joke. Neither side is cool or funny or anything, it's ridiculous to think that hating or loving on a game you've never played just because other people are doing it is a good way to go about things.

    So in both ways, FFVII is overhyped. Both by the haters and the so-called fans. Rubs off well on those of us who actually really like the game, no?

    As for what I personally feel is overhyped...

    Resident Evil 5;
    The Halo series;
    The Gears of War series;
    Fable 2;
    The Killzone series;
    The Resistance series;
    The Dragon Quest series;
    The God of War series.

    Pokemon- Seriously, they're just adding more pokemons!

    Super Mario Bros.- What the hell do people see in that game!?

    FFVII: It's just the same as any other FF games. Except for the Materia, of course.

    TWEWY was not overrated, you find me another RPG that matches it.
    Halo is a bit overhyped, I do like it a lot though.
    Super Mario Bros. is not overrated. I think you just hate platformers, and maybe Nintendo.
    I think the most overhyped game is counter-strike (1.6, Source and Condition Zero), don't get me wrong, it's a great game, just wayyyyy below what I thought it would be (or maybe that's just because I'm playing DZ 1.6(nonsteam) and all the good servers have high ping/are steam.)

    Yes it was. The game just got 3 weeks, and it's too easy. I killed Panthera Cantus on Ultimate with a help of a friend who only played the game for 15 minutes (He played as Joshua). Where's the challenge in that?

    If you don't know who I am, shut up. I LOVE PLATFORMERS. Heck, I'm even enjoying The Legendary Starfy than Mario. (But I don't hate him personally, just the game.)

    Well you teamed up on it, that's 2vs1, unfair :p

    FYI, Panthera Cantus is a tough boss even on normal, I played against an Ultimate mode Panthera Cantus, Oh, and I only taught him how to attack and use lasers.

    P.S. Panthera cantus is composed of 2 Noises, that means it's fair. :p

    you see, 1 player controls 2 player from the UG, now if your 2 players you'll control 4 players of the UG, so... it's 4vs2

    Err... No. I'm playing in the real life (Which I think you don't know or don't have.), which has only 1 player (me) controlling Neku and Joshua (two guys, FROM DIFFERENT SCREENS.) So If I add another guy to help me, I can control Neku while he controls Joshua. So it's me controlling Neku and my friend controlling Joshua. Thus, there are two players, fighting Panthera Cantus who is composed of two powerful Noises. Thus, it's still fair.

    Besides, only a Nintendo freak can control two characters while fighting Panthera Cantus on Ultimate mode.

    Ahh come on man, that's the purpose of the game too, get some challenge

    The problem is it wasn't really that of a challenge. I thought beating Panthera Cantus on ultimate mode is hard as hell that you have to use cheat codes, but it only takes 1 experienced guy, and 1 noob to do the job.

    Spore is over-rated. I got the staff of life in just 4 days of playing and got bored after that. I thought it would live up to its name and simulate "actual" evolution but it was all intelligent design all the way.

    Agreed.

    On Topic:

    Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass- Seriously, the game's too short! Nice controls though. :)
