Most over-rated games

For me the most over-rated games (single game)

Halo 3 - Halo 2 multiplayer was better, better maps, more fun, more addicting etc.

Gears of War 2 - This game was just bad, multiplayer was made into casual crap and barely worked correctly when released.

Resident Evil 5 - Played it for a week, got 1000/1000, done. Not exactly replayable since it's so easy and Sheva AI just ruins it for solo.

GTAIV - 'Nuff said

Super Smash Brothers Brawl - So much wrong with this game

Street Fighter IV - Not exactly worth 60 bucks TBH, if it was 30-40, I would be fine with it.

Fallout 3 - I just don't see the hype in this

7: It was fun, but too much hype.

 

I admit halo 3 isn't much fun anymore there's too many random stuff in there (bubble shield, gravity hammer, and more)

 

GTA:san andreas i dont know why everybody calls it the best in the series i hated it. it just didnt feel like a gta game and nothing in it was all that memorable.i dont understand how someone could prefer this over 3 or my favorite vice city

 

anything that have mario in it is overrated.

 

Final Fantasy 7. Actually, any Final Fantasy game after 6 was overhyped, except for possibly 9.

Halo 3. The hype over this was stupidly high.

Chrono Trigger. Mediocre in all respects except for possibly music.

There're more, but I can't bring them to mind easily.

 

Halo series. Not bad ,but CoD is better! Hm... KZ2 is similar to Halo,so lets change: Kz2 is better than Halo

Second is GTA4. It is a good game ,but not a good GTA!

 

OK, I'll get linched here, I just know it.
But I never liked the Zelda series, each seems to be the same, go save the princess, like the Mario series, it was fun at the beggining, but it's been 20 years, give it a rest already, there's only so much a plumber and a little green guy in tights can do.

 

FF7 is EXTREMELY overrated.

 

I used to download Dora for my little sister.Sometimes I tried to play but the expectation failed.Also wonder Pets.It's a failure.

In my own opinion (Dont flame me guys) The Poke'mon games.
Every 'version' i have tried just seems the same as the last. What a franchise..LoL

 

They do change slightly but I do see your point

 

Duke Nukem Forever

when it eventually comes out it won't be the First person dance 'em up rail shooter Role-playing dating sim that we were all promised. Bastards.

 

Halo, bought it the 1st day because of the hype. When I got home I played the 1st level and I haven't touched it since.

 

wow a lot of Final Fantasy haters here. ( I think FF7 was the best since i have played them all)
I'm gonna have to go with Halo as there are so many shooter games that are better, but somehow Halo is seen as a Godlike game.

 

I like FF

 

FF7 storyline will eventually get old, its like playing pokemon with the same the storyline over over until you get sick of it.
