    It worked nicely in Cash's context but I must be the obligatory the-original-was-better guy. Less convention endures more listens and whatnot.

    This is one of the only cases where I enjoy the remade over the original.

    Doesn't help I'm not a NIN fan either.

    Makes sense, everything since The Downward Spiral has been a cheap imitation of The Downward Spiral. Hurt is a great song whichever composition you prefer, though.
