These are songs that I thought were superb in their own way.

"The Battle For Everyone's Souls" - Persona 3 Fes
    "The Genesis" - Persona 4
"Scherzo Di Notte" - Kingdom Hearts II
"Battle Theme" - Final Fantasy X
"Bombing Mission" - Final Fantasy VII
"One-Winged Angel" - Final Fantasy VII

    I Am... is pretty good.
Simple and Clean is blazing stuck in my head.
I actually listen to all my music sped up (long story), so that changes my perception of songs somewhat.

Totally. It's not "epic" but it ends the game perfectly. The Turret Opera from Portal 2 does a similar job considering how strange the ending to the game actually is.

I'm surprised Xenoblade Chronicles wasn't mentioned. My favorite soundtracks and in my opinion is Engage the Enemy, Unfinished Battle and Zanza's theme.

Oh yeah and also the final battle from Super Mario Galaxy 1

Since most of my personal favorites were already mentioned I'm gonna go for something a little different and pick Wind Wakers mini boss music because not only was it epic, but it actually played a melody with your game play, making it pretty much interactive music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvLWt1ptPpM

    Continuing this old thread...
And assuming that "epic" can be defined as "extending beyond the usual or ordinary especially in size or scope"...
"Happiness" - from [DS] Rune Factory 3 (awarded for poignantly expressing emotion).

Another epic song would be the theme song of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. I have to admit; it is sung with passion.

Endless Possibilities (Orchestrated Version(The Vocal Version's just as good)) from Sonic Unleashed. (Wii, X360,PS2,PS3).
    What makes it epic is:
    • It being played in the final battle (There's no extra stages)
    • (The cliché of) Playing as Super Sonic (& the Light Gaia Colossus) in the final battle
    • The final battle being the Classic, Eternal Conflict between Light and Darkness, The winner gets to take over planet Mobius, And the loser gets sealed deep within the core of the planet forever.
