Most annoying Video Game Boss is...

Maybe not the HARDEST, WORST or MOST annoying, but
This thing in the game "Total Carnage" on the SNES is such a B****, it takes 10000000000 hits to kill, and it often corners you, and every time I fight it (even with a buddy) I always lose at least 3 lives, which makes the rest of the game impossible

 

oh, i forgot one, the last boss in hard in Contra 3!!!, that was so hard, and annoying because i had to fight him like 1000 times

 

well the most anoying is: Ansem when he is in his riku form KH

 

One of the most annoying bosses I've fought:

Holoholo Bird from Baten Kaitos Origins

It is at the very beginning of disc 2 (of course it prompts you to save at the end of the 1st disc), and although you can save again right before the actual fight, it isn't worth a whole lot. Basically, if you can't beat it, there is pretty much no way to beat it at that point without starting the game over. The sheer amount of time it takes to play that game and play it well already eliminates the want to play the game any further if you get stuck like I did.

 

The last boss in Shinobi for the PS2. I had a Pro Action Replay give me unlimited powerups and life and he still managed to knock me off the ring and kill me every time.

 

its not only the boss battles there that are annoying...

though its fulfilling to see a boss get cut in half after you do that tate thing.

still, i've yet to finish this game because of that damned fifth stage

 

Really? I found him quite easy.

Then again, each one of my party members was level 99...

 

Chaos - Dissidia

This is the only boss I've struggled on.
Not only do you have to beat him once, but three times successfully.

 

i will definatly say:teh final boss of golden sun 2(the dragon with 3 heads)
it used to shoot a beam that kill almost all my teamates.
it took me 2 months to defeat him(2.30 h n the final battle)

 

Really? I though he was quite easy. I guess you were seriously under-leveled though but check out Dullahan. He's the optional boss in Golden Sun 2 and he is waaaaaaaay harder than the 3-headed dragon.

 

I know its probably to late for that. But in the dungeon before the boss, its a labyrinth where you will find capsules with your friends and civilians trapped.

After you rescue then all, you will cut the supply of infinite Furyoku of the boss and his appearance will change.
His lvl drop to around 4x~5x as well.

Then yes, fight him very fair and square.

All the bosses in Golden Sun 2 were very easy for me. All the way up to that Star Magician dude.

The Golden Sun 2 Optional bosses were HARD..

They were even more difficult than the final boss >_> All I had to do for the final boss was class-change my guys to Ninjas and spam Wind moves

 

I found them to be easy, too easy. Of course, I had all the Djinni and my Golden Sun party and gear plus all the little extras that come with that data transfer. The "hardest" boss in the game died before even getting difficult. I hadn't spammed levels using the Phoenix trick either (or whatever the blue ones are), I was only using levels I had naturally gained through my travels and extra boss battles.

It was like in Golden Sun one. The Dutchman was easier then the entire dungeon leading up to him.

 

lol when i first played golden sun 2 i just rushed it so everything was hard for me.. however after doing data transfer and taking my time on my 2nd play through it was pretty much easy fighting wise i just kept getting lost in dungeons >.> btw did any1 have as much fun spaming oddessy as i did XD that and searing heat XD IMMA FIRIN MEH LAZORS........anyways for me hardest boss for me was yunalisca in FFX.....for some dang reason she always seems to be able to hit me with zombie then instantly with full-life even with haste on.......i bout threw my PS2 into the wall...all my chars were even almost at the end of the skill tree yuna had holy, lulu had flare, etc etc. took me about 10 tries b4 i won..eh prob just bad luck eh

 

For me its zinaida from Armored Core: LR. I cannot defeat her without cheats.
And also manfred von karma and kristoph gavin from ace attorney series. Not hard, but i found them really annoying.

 

Doom Dragon 1st playthrough in GS2. When he had 3 heads it was easy, but when he had 2 heads he was just annoying. He kept on spamming Cruel Ruin and would almost knock out my entire party. Even if I somehow managed to beat his 2nd form he would instantly use Djinn Storm and wipe out both parties. I didn't touch the game for months. When I finally picked it up again I beat him on my fourth try -_-. Now because I transfered my GS1 party he's like a kids toy.

DULLAHAN on the other hand was totally easy (only because I used the Daedalus/Eclipse technique and was very lucky) and beat him on my first try. Now trying to beat him legit is a total pain >_<
